@TheGreatNateVA It was a huge disappointment as a Mario fan.😑Nintendo should have let DiC create the animated movie the studio had planned for 1990. It would've been better than the live-action film that flopped.

It’s not just “everyone hated it” the movie itself was a huge disservice to the games it was based on and it did so bad at both box office and critical reviews that it scared Nintendo into doing zero film adaptions for 30 years.

Erik Kripke, the "man" who single-handedly destroyed "Supernatural" and "The Boys," told Hollywood Reporter this about President Trump: “It’s never great when the world out-crazies your superhero show with exploding penises. Internment camps, sending federal troops into cities… When you think of the clown currently in charge...” Hey, Kripke — shut the fuck up about Donald Trump. He was elected by 80 million normal, hardworking Americans who are sick of being talked down to, lied to, and culturally terrorized by people like you. He’s not the clown — YOU ARE. Because you’ve spent years wrecking two once-great shows with your insipid female empowerment/male diminishment agenda. "Supernatural" was a 15-year masterclass in how to slowly assassinate your own series with forced “strong female characters” that nobody asked for. And "The Boys," once a fun savage spoof of superheroes and Disney garbage, is now a grotesque trash fire that celebrates the worst of humanity... ...all while gleefully slaughtering as many MALE characters as possible. So here's thing, Erik: NOBODY GIVES A FUCK ABOUT YOUR PERSONAL POLITICS. You injected your hatred of MEN and AMERICA into "The Boys," and now the show is barely watchable by normies like me. What truly out-crazies your garbage show is smug Hollywood hacks like you daring to insult President Trump and the 80 million Americans who elected him. Keep your lectures to yourself, freak, and focus on making decent television again — if you ever get another chance to.

Because of the medium, Link must speak. His concern is valid however and its a good thing it's being acknowledged. A compromise would be to stick to a more stoic Link rather than try and shove quippy dialogue everywhere. Make him like a fantasy John Wick. Says very little, and very good at fighting

@PopejoyWriter I think the live-action film could attract non-fans. General audience who wants to see a good fantasy movie. I'm curious to see it and hope it might be as great as ATLA.🙏

Just so people know. My expectations going into The Legend of Zelda movie are vastly different from my expectations going into a Mario movie. I'm expecting something more on par with Avatar The Last Airbender in terms of storytelling and characters.

I'm really glad the Mario movies are making money, but Nintendo needs to fire all the "writers" they have and actually get actual real writers who can actually write a coherent story. You can't just only rely on nostalgia fanservice every movie. The MCU learned that the hard way

@DjuricTine Agreed. Alfonso is also a talented voice actor. He voiced Roland on Extreme Ghostbusters in 1997.

Back then when i was watching the show i thought Will is one of the coolest guys. Most wanted to be like him. I liked Carlton but he was never someone i wanted to be. Looking back at this time now i can confidently say the real MVP is Alfonso. It´s sad what has become of Will.

@madcap412 Star Fox, Metroid & Luigi’s Mansion could all be amazing. While DK is one of my favourite Nintendo characters, knowing that Seth Rogan is the voice puts me off that movie.

I think the next Nintendo animated movies should be: - Star Fox movie (obviously) - Luigi's Mansion - Metroid - DK movie What do you all think?

@Techman_Z01 @RetroJeff83 I found a Wii U system bundle at GameStop back in 2013. I had zero interest in Skylanders, so I never played that.

@RetroJeff83 The Wii was the first time I was extremely disappointed in Nintendo. Because of this I never owned one, not because I couldn't find one, but because I never wanted one. Years later I did buy a Wii U when they came out, but again was disappointed.

I'm honestly not a huge fan of the Wii I don't like motion controls and I don't think it has a particularly great library That said, I remember it was very hard to find one for a while after launch. The scarcity is actually what drove me to buy one to see what the hype was about

Sharing my Star Fox 3D art one more time cause I just saw the Mario Galaxy movie & Fox was hands down the highlight of the movie. Thank you @ima_1966 for creating some of my favorite characters that I grew up with 😁 It was such a surreal experience seeing them on the big screen
