@Kasperkring @Pellrik @27potatisar So when Denmark, Norway and Sweden were united in 15th century, they called it Scandinavia, right? Because that word has been continuously used since the days of Pliny and since that time has referred specifically to those 3 countries. Right?

@MarxismTonight @Pellrik @27potatisar It's never the less how it is and has been since Pliny the Elder. Whether you like it or not. The peninsula is named after the old historical Scandinavia which is Denmark and parts of Norway and Sweden. Not the other way around.

There's no reason to update priors. This only confirms the fact that blue pressers excel at emotional manipulation and social pressure, are really good at coordinated political actions, and are willing to sacrifice themselves and others for a greater idea.
Incidentally, all these make them most suitable as suicide bombers.
