Markwayne Mullin’s nomination heads to the floor with the Senate panel approving his nomination, 8-7. Rand Paul voted NO alongside Dems, so how did Mullin's nomination get approved? Fetterman voted YES. Two things of note - first, there's never going to be a cabinet nominee in Trump 2.0 that is worth confirming. Second, I'm SO sick and tired of "Fox News" Fetterman.

REDS is a great film and gets a lot of the history right, as well, which to a historian of the US left like me is super important since this history is so unknown. Some amazing casting, too. Maureen Stapleton as Emma Goldman! Paul Sorvino as Louis Fraina! Chef's kiss.

Americans concerned about affordability will certainly rejoice in Donald Trump starting an optional war with Iran with unclear goals and sending gas prices skyrocketing. This is exactly the sort of thing voters will reward in November when they go to vote. (Hopefully this is sarcasm)
