Aircraft vibrations from Khajuraho Airport caused cracks in the khajurao temple structures so the ASI raised concerns & the @MoCA_GoI later banned flights near the temples. The airport is now being converted into an airbase,It ensures the land is used meaningfully, not misused

As @anilkumardhir sir clearly explained, Cuttack airport played an important role during 1963–69. Now that ARC is defunct due to improved satellite imaging capabilities, Now the need is to build a proper big airport, as it is our requirements & also fulfills AAI requirements.
