Belfast City Council has agreed in principle to introduce holiday resort status which would allow larger stores to open anytime on Sundays between 1 March and 30 September. Under current laws, larger stores are limited to 1-6pm Sunday hours. Smaller stores are free to set their own hours.

An @AerLingus Regional flight from Manchester to Belfast spent almost 90 mins circling over the city before landing. The flight normally takes 42mins - @flightradar24 shows this one taking 2hrs 14mins.
