@Pubtest14 Agreed. They should be going for a 50% increase AND promising not to go back to work until they get it.

One Nation has called on the government to declare a National Fuel Crisis.
Servo pumps are running empty, prices are skyrocketing and regional towns are being strangled.
If we're not in a crisis now - then when will they call it one?
The big oil companies are strangling the independent distributors who service the regions. That's forcing the prices up in the regions, and then the big oil owned service stations in the cities are increasing to match.
The government can try to gaslight us all they want and try to say there's no emergency. Every Australian can see we have a crisis on our hands.
It's time for Minister Bowen to use the laws that are in place: declare an emergency, force supplies to the regions and end the price gouging.

@AlboMP Fuel retailers make about 3c per litre.
Government accepts no risk, no running costs and makes about 70c per litre.
Who is doing the gouging?
English

@TMFScottP If the government is needed to bail out any company, the Australian taxpayers should be given a stake in that company.
English

Business: "Minister, my business is failing. I can't or won't raise equity. And I can't or won't take a loan on commercial terms"
Minister: "Well, we can't have that! My friend the taxpayer will happily fund your failing venture and/or give you a better deal than the banks!"
Scott Phillips@TMFScottP
@coasthealthhub A stake. If no-one else will provide them with a loan, the Australian government (taxpayer!) shouldn't be taking that risk, IMO.

Quote of the day.
Australians aren’t turning to Pauline because they think she has all the answers. They’re turning to her because they know YOU (ALP and LNP) don’t.
Thanks @minnamyself

If you'll excuse me, I'm off make my fortune.
Today, I'm going to buy a failing, capital-intensive manufacturing business in a regional area, employing a few hundred people.
Tomorrow, I have a meeting with the State and Federal ministers for a billion dollar handout.
Straya!
Scott Phillips@TMFScottP
Another day, *yet another* $2 billion for the private sector. This time Rio's aluminium smelter in Queensland. The federal government is fast becoming one of the most irresponsible users of taxpayers' money in my lifetime... and that's saying something.

LABOR MATHS
$2,000,000,000 taxpayer funded subsidy for 1,000 direct jobs.
That‘s $2 million per job.
Net Zero is destroying our country - you can‘t subsidise everyone.
We are quickly running out of competitive productive industries - soon they’ll be no one left to create the wealth to pay for subsidies.

English

@Ben_Davison1 Would it not also be valid to say the majority (62%) put Labor down the ballot?
English

@GreenTyler27 You've run a good race mate, regardless of the result.

@hydrogeoscience @superphenix2023 @aaronsmith What value do you put on the lives of the Child slave labour used to extract cobalt for your Lithium batteries in The Congo?
English

@superphenix2023 @aaronsmith @OneNationCCoast are you for real??? efficiency is related to the USE of energy, not its storage! a diesel engine needs ~600-700 Wh/km. An EV needs ~160 Wh/km = ~3.7 times more efficient translating into lower cost.
English

@superphenix2023 @aaronsmith @OneNationCCoast I do like your hyperbole…
…But I can think of other far less efficient transportation methods, including: private jets

34 Senators voted NO to One Nation’s inquiry into NDIS fraud.
Right now, the system is $52B… and it’s projected to hit $100B by 2030.
And they don’t even want to investigate it.
These are our tax dollars and they’re happy for it to be rorted.
This is supposed to help the most vulnerable Australians.
So why shut it down? @DrewPavlou

@minnamyself "Australians aren’t turning to Pauline because they think she has all the answers. They’re turning to her because they know YOU don’t."
Well said!
English

Seriously, like they know what they’re doing!
Angus Taylor just said that, “does Australians really think that One Nation can run a 3 trillion dollar economy”.
Angus, does Australia really think the Coalition can? You just delivered the worst result since Federation. 43 seats. Your predecessor lost his own electorate. The party has split twice in nine months.
You’re polling behind One Nation nationally and asking whether THEY can run the economy?
Here’s a better question: who’s been running it for the last 40 years and how’s that going?
Housing unaffordable. Manufacturing gutted. Economic complexity ranking 105th in the world, below Uganda. R&D spending the lowest in the developed world. 30 days of fuel reserves. 30% of exports dependent on one country. Prisons overflowing. Public housing waitlists where people die waiting.
That’s not One Nation’s track record. That’s yours. Yours and Labor’s. Together. Over four decades.
One Nation hasn’t had the chance to run anything because the two-party system has locked them out while delivering exactly the results Australians are furious about.
The arrogance of that question is precisely why One Nation is polling where it is. Australians aren’t turning to Pauline because they think she has all the answers. They’re turning to her because they know YOU don’t.
You want to win those voters back Angus? Don’t mock them for leaving.
Ask yourself why they left.
What’s your thoughts…?

Congratulations to @OneNationAus' @corybernardi on his election to the South Australian Parliament! 🧡
What a treat for SA to have a leader who not only knows what a woman is, but isn’t afraid to say it.
Here’s a throwback to my interview with Cory on @SkyNewsAust.

The best time to fight was 20 years ago.

Why are Labor Greens protecting the criminals ?
Just to spite One Nation or are they involved in fraudulent activity themselves ?
#NDISfraud
Pauline Hanson 🇦🇺@PaulineHansonOz
Labor, Greens and Tammy Tyrrell just voted down our inquiry into NDIS fraud. They're happy for your money to be rorted.
