@jennyblah92 @mattvanswol @SenWarren Banks can't but builders can. As per usual this is decending into name calling. Good luck fixing anything when you can't talk to someone without insults and attacks.

@PatBD3 @mattvanswol @SenWarren You're delulu. Banks can't MAKE a house affordable-the sale price is what it is. Clinton forced 47% of the loans to be sub prime bc that's the only way ppl who had no ability to buy could do it! This isn't a complicated plan to follow to its predictable end- which was the crash.

Elon Musk just became the world's first trillionaire. The typical American household would have to work more than 11 MILLION years to make Elon Musk's level of wealth. We need a wealth tax.

@jennyblah92 @mattvanswol @SenWarren It wasn't make a crime to avoid offering subprime loans, federal policy didn't mandate loans for unqualified buyers. The 2008 crash was triggered by largely unregulated private lending market, fueled by Wall Street's bundling/selling toxic mortgages for profit. What's ur source?

@PatBD3 @mattvanswol @SenWarren Try again, Pat. They made it a 'discriminatory crime' NOT to offer them sub prime loans they had no way of paying back and then the govt insured the loans with OUR money!!

@jennyblah92 @mattvanswol @SenWarren #6 This crisis eventually let to significant regulatory overhauls like the Dodd-Frank Act. This act aimed at increasing oversight on Wall Street to try and prevent it from happening again. Nobody forced banks to engage in risky lending and selling. That's on them.

@jennyblah92 @mattvanswol @SenWarren # 5. This caused credit markets to completely freeze, bringing the flow of money in the global economy to a halt. When Lehman Brothers filled bankruptcy the global markets panicked. This is when governments stepped in with massive bailouts.

@phildudebro @JRRothschild13 @JoyceWhiteVance And there it is. Don't address the point, just attack the person. I didn't say anything about the Grand Canyon. I addressed the two examples that were provided and gave their links to the slavery issue. What a tool.

@PatBD3 @JRRothschild13 @JoyceWhiteVance I got a good idea let’s project a slave being lunched on the side of the Grand Canyon, No it does not. Same reason your prolapsed anus is projected on the Grand Canyon fucking retard

@phildudebro @JRRothschild13 @JoyceWhiteVance Independence National Park is a but harder to find the connection but still not hard for an intelligent person. Its connection to slavery is the President's House Site, where George Washington and John Adams lived and enslaved individuals served during their presidencies.

@phildudebro @JRRothschild13 @JoyceWhiteVance Abolitionist John Brown led an armed group in the capture of the armory in 1859 at Harper's Ferry. Why do you ask? Brown had hoped he would be able to arm the slaves. You could have easily gotten that information, but apparently you're just a tool (abet not a sharp one).

@GarySippel @SenWarren Wouldn't it be smart to lower salary for the House and Senate? These crooks make $174,000 a year on average. Pay them the average salary of the country, which says it's about $67,000.00. See how fast they turn that down.

@mattvanswol @SenWarren Senator Elizabeth Warren originally proposed the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) in 2007 and was instrumental in its establishment under the Dodd-Frank Act which serves as a financial watchdog designed to protect Americans from predatory lending, hidden bank fees, etc

@davetotally @SandraRodkey You do realize that you can't use logic on these people. It's like how could Biden order the FBI under trump to infiltrate anything on January 6th... to a normal person it's insane to a maga it's fact.

here's the full clip of Rep. Emilia Sykes's brilliant line of questioning that made Chris Wright squirm by confronting him with the completely unhinged comments Trump just made in the Oval Office about inflation and the war in Iran

OMFG! Trump literally just celebrated a massive increase in our trade deficit. He doesn’t even know what a “widening of our trade deficit” means. He thinks it means that we are exporting more than we’re importing, which would be good, but it means the exact opposite.
