Captured something spectacular this evening around 6:20 p.m. while hiding in the back of my 4Runner from the monolithic storm barrelling down on Nogales, Arizona. I knew the Bolt Hunter tripped the camera shutter when lightning struck nearby, but it wasn't until after the storm did I notice it struck a radio tower in the warehouse area along La Quinta Rd. I checked the distance and it measured out at .95 miles away from me. The downburst was so intense I waited it out close to some nearby apartments. Monsoon 2026 is here! #arizona #azwx #nogales #lightning
