Interesting tidbit here, Arkansas was playing in the sweet 16 while we were doing severe weather coverage. Game was up on a big tv and Todd, Barry, and I would take turns checking the score. Arkansas saw a ton of hail, but also advanced to the elite eight!

While Mother Nature has been a bit on the slow side, the fishing has certainly been the direct opposite. Bass spawn is off and running at home.. and I’ve found some absolute dandys the last few days. Temps warming back up into the 80s the next few days should get the next wave of spawners on the banks. It’s on 🫡🎣

Decided to come out of deactivation and what not to spill out something that maybe someone here needs to hear. Not for attention seeking purposes whatsoever, just a small spill that I hope reaches the right person and puts a fire under them as it done me, particularly this morning. Might be a hair long, so I do apologize.. and for those wondering, it’s okay to be vulnerable and speak out, you’re not alone. Over the course of the last several years I’ve certainly endured a fair share of complications, disappointments, and loss that certainly hasn’t been easy to shake off on most days. As such like the end of a long lasting relationship that I certainly believed was going to be the one, the loss of my grandfather and most recently a close childhood friend of mine and the many of rough battles with mental health just as example of a few of the circumstances. Certainly seems that I would continue to struggle with these battles and have the ability to simply move forward and carry on with life as it is needed be, and I very certainly have struggled.. until today. I got a much needed calling of sorts that certainly gave me the boost needed to carry forward. The calling in Question? Joshua 1:9: "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go" This verse certainly lit a fire under my nose.. and more importantly gives me great confidence in knowing that everything will be okay, for the Good Lord is with me always. Better days are always yet to come. Y’all have a wonderful Tuesday!

I very appreciate it Tanner. It’s certainly been a hard ordeal for me to accept a lot of the reality of the past and even the present, but I’ve really began working on a better relationship with God and truly putting it in his hands and it’s certainly given me some much needed clarity. It’s a beautiful thing, and I’m certainly more ready now than I ever been for the journeys ahead!

@CameronCW13 That verse has been echoing around me this past week as I step into some exciting but scary things. I feel like a lot of people don’t understand how vital grieving is and how close the Lord can be in the valley. Appreciate your story Cameron.
