Charlie didn’t argue with what you call Zionist’s! Charlie Kirk himself in his own words was a “Zionist” Christian. The one comment he made was made in 2023. You are truly a sick and pathetic person. You are beyond redemption. Evil to the core. You have followers with the IQ of slugs considering that you went from if was the “Jews”! to. French Paratroopers then TPUSA. You’re gross. Truly disgusting. We couldn’t be luck enough for you to be eradicated.

Thank you all for the messages of concern but I am not dead. If I were, it would be entirely appropriate for you to have blamed Israel. 🤷‍♀️ Somewhat relatedly, Charlie Kirk was not concerned he was going to be killed by a transgendered furry after a full day of arguing with Zionists about him abandoning the pro-Israel cause. Hope this helps.

@7tbarney7 @TURBOPOSSUM @contractorkeith I mean at the end of the day it simply isn’t affordable to buy a home, and that’s why the age of first time homebuyers has steadily increased for 30+ years. It is more difficult to buy a home today than it was in 1970. It’s math, it isn’t subjective.

@7tbarney7 @TURBOPOSSUM @contractorkeith Except this house isn’t the equivalent. If we were only counting inflation you’d be correct. But you’re missing per sq ft, location etc.

@RM_7SS @TURBOPOSSUM Addressing @contractorkeith's and @TURBOPOSSUM's original posts, I'm saying if I could buy the equivalent of a $210k house on the equivalent of a $70k salary, then a $225k on $75k is doable. Especially if you're married and have even a little bit of combined income above that.

@7tbarney7 @TURBOPOSSUM You’re only accounting for inflation of the dollars value, not for the additional increase in housing prices above inflation. I’ll attach a graph below to help illustrate.

@KenNagel5 Absolutely! My father on several occasions left for work, and only came home on weekends because that’s where the work was. I think I’m the last generation that was taught to work and sacrifice.

Facts. Go read the comments. Younger gens do nothing but cry and whine about everyone that came before them having it easy. Nah, we worked harder, and smarter. We moved across the country, multiple times for work. We saved, built with our own hands, ate potatoes for weeks and months at a time when we had to. When I hear the excuses… it’s the sounds of losers. Winners wake up for a challenge, put their boots on and get to work.
ContractorKeith@contractorkeith

these go for $225k, or about $1350/mo with $10k down (I calculated 6.5% 30yr) on 1/4ac, 1250 heated square feet. why are we acting like kids fresh out of college need a $450k house to survive?

@loyalmoses Holy arrogant delusion. You think you’re smart yet you can’t differentiate between “whining” and completely reasonable criticism of systemic issues. Instead of acting like you’re superior, maybe try caring for your community and future generations.

@RM_7SS @TURBOPOSSUM Sure, I was just using his example since that was his baseline. Median is actually $84K now so getting to $100K combined shouldn't take too long which would make this situation much more manageable. There's already a large swath on both sides....

@Gianpattention @TURBOPOSSUM that’s not a single median salary. That’s nearly the median household income in the United States. that’s inclusive to both incomes. Median income for single earner is much less, closer to 50k.

@TURBOPOSSUM you aren't supposed to buy any house on a single median salary ffs, you buy an under median house with 2 median salaries, because the median buyer is A LOT richer than the median american, given 1/3 of americans never buy...

@AlsaceOf @TURBOPOSSUM Should young single people not be able to own a home? I personally believe owning your own home is one of the most fulfilling things someone can do, spiritually and mentally. It provides security and stability. Why are we locking that behind a barrier of marriage?

@TURBOPOSSUM Why are young single people expecting to own a home? Didn’t even think to bother to look to buy until I got married. And even then we rented for 4 years to save up some cash.

@TURBOPOSSUM That's about where I was in 1989, adjusted for inflation. My wife was working receptionist jobs and going to school. Our commutes were 30 and 50 miles one way. Interest rates were higher. 2 cheap cars. Student debt. We made it work.

@ClubAtheists @BananaEcho2 @TURBOPOSSUM You grew up poor. That’s not the norm. The barrier of entry to home ownership was statistically, objectively, inarguably lower for boomers and Gen X than it is right now. That doesn’t mean it’s impossible, but you shouldn’t be upset that we critique the systems direction.

@BananaEcho2 @TURBOPOSSUM Im gen x. I can tell you now that my parents lived in apartments my entire life and shared one car. Often one of them walking to work while us kids took care of ourselves. Very common then. My wife's dad lived at the YMCA with other men and walked to work.

@TURBOPOSSUM Just stop all this BS. He said at the beginning of your post “he’s a kid.” half of my income was going to ship too when I was his age. Took me decades to get where I am. I don’t know why this younger generation thinks it’s all supposed to happen right away OK

@Kooterrific @TURBOPOSSUM 2 incomes of 75k is hyperunrealistic. Median household income in the United States is barely above $75k for two earners, let alone just one. One earner at 75k is already an anomaly overall.

@TURBOPOSSUM Why is everyone single now? When I was in my 20's, everyone was getting married, buying houses, and looking to start a family. What is the fascination with being single? 2 incomes of $75K would crush this easily. Why are these anecdotes always "single incomes" buying a house?

@engineereddad @anymanfitness I grew up when Michelle Obama’s changes were being implemented in my school and in my experience they were basically always bad. Some of the food was better than others, but none of it was particularly good to eat. It served a purpose and should continue to do so.

The headline is “Republicans want you to starve”. In reality this is a massive waste of money. In my kids’ district, lunch and breakfast are both already free. Almost nobody eats it because the free food is gross trash. There are better options, but those are paid. 90% of the free food goes directly into the trash can, programs like this basically light money on fire.

@BeckyBlahnik @anymanfitness So the kids who did want it should suffer because other kids were privileged? This is such a simple issue, why does it even warrant a fight? Who cares if it wastes some money, we spend trillions every year and this doesn’t touch that. We can afford to let the kids eat (or not)

@anymanfitness Our local high school had “free lunch” paid for with COVID $. Kids were required to take a fruit and a vegetable. If they said they didn’t want an applesauce cup, too bad! You must have it as part of the free lunch. And kids would throw them away. A damned waste of food and $.

@gillingh3 @anymanfitness This doesn’t happen at the scale you think it does. (If at all) I knew kids when i was in public school who wouldn’t have been able to eat every day if not for school meals. You can tell it’s the parents responsibility, idc, we can afford it.

@anymanfitness Respectfully, you’re missing the point. The money is laundered through an NGO/company owned by friends of the Dem politician. They charge 2 - 3x the actual cost of the food, take a cut for themselves, then kick some back to the politician in the form of campaign contributions.

@DindofferJ @anymanfitness Whether or not the food tastes great is pretty irrelevant when there are kids hungry. I went to public school where we had free lunch and i saw plenty of people (including myself) who ate it daily and were just fine with that.

@anymanfitness My kids have informed me that the free meals are of significantly lower quality than prior school food. It is a good idea in concept, but doesn’t work for my family. Not sure if the old free/reduced cost school lunch program met the actual needs of folks who need them most.

@i_isSindahblokk @papas_gino @anymanfitness No. They're trying to eliminate waste, fraud and abuse. Big difference. What blows me away is that people (from a particular political persuasion) couldn't care less about waste, fraud and abuse and some even support it.
