🚨🚨Montana Primary Recap – We fought hard and got some real wins, but it’s a mixed bag. I poured a ton of time and energy into taking out the top 3 statewide RINOs. Llew Jones, George Nikolakakos, and Brad Barker still survived their primaries even after being kicked out of the party and taking that liberal PAC cash. Frustrating, but that’s the reality we’re up against. Big wins though: Trevor Walter knocked off Ken Walsh (my #4 target). Huge momentum shift — Trevor will be the rep for HD69 because he does not have a democrat running in the general. Steven Galloway beat Ed Buttrey — that one felt good. Stacy Zinn held on, Jodee Etchart kept her seat, and Findley Warden took out Linda Reksten. Solid conservative victories. Brandon Ler winning was strategically huge for Eastern Montana. We need that voice and leadership to push back against the western Montana machine trying to take over. Jeff Pattison crushed it for Public Service Commission — principled guy who will do right by us. Aaron Flint delivered an absolute beatdown in CD1 with a ~20,000 vote win. Epic. Kurt Alme ran away with the Senate primary by over 100k votes. Charles Walking Child also posted his best numbers ever. On the tough side: Loren Hinebauch lost in deep red Eastern Montana. That one hurts. The rich RINO crowd is clearly targeting the east now. We also lost two really solid lawmakers in Barry Usher and Nelly Nicol. That stings. Annie Bukacek advancing was surprising given some of her energy votes. Dan Wilson is still down by 7k+ to Amy Eddy — we cannot afford to lose that Supreme Court seat. Dan needs to turn it up. Overall, we ate some RINOs, protected some good ground, and showed the establishment we’re not going away. Now the real work begins — general election time.
