The Jews WERE the only chosen people. Before Jesus Christ came. The chosen people has entered in the Church and became its foundations.

I can’t dispute what you say here. Perhaps worth noting the upwards trend in church attendance though, something of a constant since the 2020 lockdown - possibly itself a consequence of the enforced closure of churches (last seen during the reign of King John!) in addition to any perceived existential threat from Islam.

@Scaroth1968 @JuneMoultrie @MatthewStadlen @NJ_Timothy It’s true that: England has an established church but none of the other home nations do. Although the country is guided by Christian principles, for several centuries many Christians were excluded from full citizenship. Today’s observant Christians are a small minority.

Astonished that we haven’t heard from @NJ_Timothy on the subject of the Palm Sunday procession across Trafalgar Square today. Why is he not complaining about domination?

Which has zero relevance to the constitutional framework which makes Britain Christian. Unless you plan on dismantling common law, separation of powers, parliamentary democracy etc and replacing them with some alternative? Secularism is of itself a product of Christian tolerance of freedom of thought.

@RmSalih @afneil Or in plain English, a Jew who converted. Then went on to become prime minister. Talking of which, perhaps you’d care to remind us what Muhammad said should happen to those who converted from Islam, Roshan? Source: Al Bukhari

Polanski is a know-nothing blowhard. The only Jewish person to lead a political party — bar, that is, Benjamin Disraeli, Ed Miliband, Michael Howard, Jimmy Goldsmith and Herbert Samuel. He is clearly ignorant of the country’s history. And much more besides.
Zack Polanski@ZackPolanski

For whoever needs to hear this I'm the only Jewish person to lead a political party - third largest in the country. The Daily Mail have been & always will be my enemy - they historically supported fascists & continue to do so. I'll take no lectures from them on Antisemitism.

Message to all those who fret about the economy because of the war against Iran: There is always a price for security. If economies were the only thing that mattered we would have surrendered to Hitler. We didn’t. We fought at great cost in lives and money to preserve our way of life. People who cite the economy as a price not worth paying understand the value of nothing. It is that lazy weak thinking which allowed mass migration. And to those who say it’s not our war: The regime in Iran has caused mayhem throughout the Middle East for decades. Our allies have been attacked. Cyprus was attacked. Diego Garcia was attacked. Yet pathetic weak British politicians want to take the easy route. Some fights are absolutely necessary. The war against the mullahs is one such fight. Grow a backbone.

@NicholasElder18 @christopherhope You mean like the apostles praying in front of the temple in Jerusalem resulting in many conversions in Acts 3-4, Father? I dare say they were ‘weaponising a religious act’ too.

NEW Attorney General Lord Hermer - one of the country’s most senior Jewish politicians - wades into the row over Muslims praying in Trafalgar Square, saying: “Nick Timothy has said that mass prayer in public places is an act of ‘domination’. But when he and Kemi Badenoch were questioned about his appalling views, they seemed to only have an issue with Muslim events. “Timothy and Badenoch’s comments beg the question – would they have a problem if I as a Jewish man, were praying in public? Or is it just Muslim prayer they find offensive, and contrary to ‘British values’?” “The Conservative Party, like Reform and Tommy Robinson, is seeking to divide Britain. Instead, they should be celebrating our brilliantly welcoming and diverse country.” More at @GBNEWS.

Here's some truth bombs for you: Iran is going for broke. It will not surrender, it will not open the Strait of Hormuz, and it will fight to the death no matter how much destruction Israel and America inflict. The people of Iran are completely behind the Islamic Republic in this holy war. I also think Russia and China will increasingly get involved in this conflict on Iran's side. Iran has the power to crash the world economy and is willing to do so. The whole world is going to suffer because Israel wants to eliminate an enemy and has used its agents in the White House to enact its plan. This may well go down as the biggest blunder an American president ever committed. I see only one solution: it's down to the American people to overthrow and imprison their treacherous president and his Zionist henchmen.

@RmSalih @NJ_Timothy Nick Timothy’s argument is made cogently and persuasively. Rather than attempting to rebut points made, you plump right away for knee jerk stigmatisation and delegitimisation of him with the habitual lexicon of fatuous abuse. Whatever your faith, you’re a disgrace.

The wilful misunderstanding in this post says everything about the people behind the “Islamophobia” definition. The point is not that Sikhs have danced on Trafalgar Square. Or that the Passion Play has been hosted there. Neither is the point that Muslims gathered on Trafalgar Square. The point is that mass ritual prayer in public - in this case next to a church - is an act of domination. So is the public call of the Adhan, which explicitly denies other religions including Christianity. That is the difference. And yet neither Dominic - nor the Labour MPs who were instructed by No10 to attack me last night - will engage with the substance. Instead he claims he knows my personal views when we haven’t talked, and incorrectly describes me as a spokesman for the Free Speech Union. People like Dominic can’t work out why the ideological world they built is falling apart. They never pause to wonder if perhaps they might have got things very badly wrong.
Dominic Grieve@dominicgrieve_

This is a very odd post from a Conservative who says he believes in freedom of expression under law and is a principal spokesman of the Free Speech Union. I appreciate that he does not like Islam and there is no reason why he should. As a Christian it is not my faith. But the use of Trafalgar Square ( with permission) for religious events Christian and other goes back a long way. There have been prayers and hymns, chants and religious events performed there in the past. If such an event 'shouldn't happen again' it raises the question of whether this is to apply to all religious events or just to Muslim ones. If to all, then we are moving like France to imposing secularism as a norm and it is contrary to our national tradition and does not seem to have helped develop social cohesion there. If just to Muslims then it is an act of discrimination against them without any lawful basis. To achieve it you would have to enact discriminatory legislation targeted at Muslims. Is this what Nick Timothy is advocating ?

When Parliament voted for abortion, Powell famously asked where are the bloody Catholics? - as many Catholic MPs abstained. Now, as the House of Lords votes on infanticide, we may well ask where are the bloody Anglican Bishops as less than half of them have made it. #CatholicX
