My history channel was DEMONETIZED. I have to wait 90 days to reapply to the YouTube Partner Program because YouTube decided that all of my videos with real human creative input - researched, scripted, and built by me - are "inauthentic content." Let me show you the work and effort that YouTube labels INAUTHENTIC. I run a WW2 history channel. I have built every single video of mine around a topic that hasn't been covered on YouTube before. Original ideas. Not recycled. Not trending bait. Topics I genuinely find fascinating and believe deserve to be told. Then comes the script. I collect real historical sources. I decide specific points I want to make. I decide my own paragraphs and build them from scratch, developing each one until the topic is covered thoroughly - with my own analysis, my own opinions. I do not use AI tools to write the script for me, because it is very unreliable with historical information. My scripts are what makes the video educational AND entertaining. It carries all the information a viewer needs. How is that low value? Then I personally source every piece of archival footage from public archives - historically accurate, specifically chosen for that video and no other. The footage matches the narration. At first I need to go through a lot of pieces of footage to find the relevant moments related to the topic, and each video so far has 100-200 small clips i cut from the historical footages assambled together. Every creative decision, from topic selection to final edit, is mine. EVERY STEP HAS MY OWN CREATIVE INPUT. The only thing I don't do myself is the voiceover -because English is not my first language and my accent makes it hard for viewers to follow. So I use ElevenLabs to deliver MY words in a way people can actually understand. That's not inauthenticity, that's accessibility. I showed ALL of this in my 4:59-minute long appeal video. All I got was a copy-paste rejection that had nothing to do with what I actually said and showed. Today my YouTube channel just got re-monetized after being demonetized for inauthentic content. Here's exactly how I fixed it ⬇️ (THREAD)

Youtube says TTS is allowed, yet we know its a trigger. Youtube says AI is allowed, but if you use AI pictures / vids to recreate something, it’s SLOP and “not human” You start to use your face combined with AI, but you get nuked regardless. You decide to avoid AI completely, but hey. you posted two videos same argument, so you are repetitive You change topics each time, but you have a specific thumbnail that works, so you use the same setting more than once… repetitive In the end you start to post things your audience dont recognize, you start to have less impressions, low CTR, and each vid “reaching a smaller audience” just to feel safe on the platform, slowly killing your channel anyway. @TeamYouTube #inauthentic

If YouTube is going to demonetize creators without any initial warning, they should at least reduce the suspension period to 30 days. A 90 day suspension feels like they want to hold your earnings for three months. Making creators wait this long is simply unfair.

@RottenAges My workflow, but yet YouTube thinks I am a robot or press to generate @TeamYouTube . hard work with 54k Subs. try and error. A sleepless night to meet the posting timeline. YouTube, this is punishment.

This is just wild. Tons of channels copying our content, thumbs made from scratch, researched scripts, academical researches.. Yet the original one is demonetized, meanwhile copycats keeps on earning from the platform with no consequences. What is inauthentic for Youtube, exactly?

Our growth at @Rottenages has always been pretty steady, no big pushes. We mostly prioritized what we loved instead of what was working, alternating 80% topics we’ve found interesting and 20% viral. On March and April, we listened to what Studio suggests “replicate your best videos! your audience loves *X* and *Y*” we did that, views went up on April 17 we got demonetized and we lost 9300$ March earnings 8432$ April earnings no warnings, no signals. @TeamYouTube meanwhile hundreds of channels are out there copying our vids without consequences. #inauthentic
