The current $X algorithm is weird. My follower count is pretty low, but I’ve had multiple posts go viral with 100k-1M views. I’ve never had to lock my account because I can defend what I’ve said. If you say something so dumb you can’t defend it, then what are you really saying? Is it your actual idea? Defend it. If it was just for engagement? Then why lock up once you got it?

Do you not realize how anti immigrant and classist your entire argument is here? There are multigenerational families whose only goal is to send their kids to med school, and you’re here arguing that their sacrifices mean that any doctor who is a man earned their degree at the expense of their wife, parents and family, just because they decided to also have kids. Not taking into account that perhaps the entire family supported this decision. Can you guess how the women in this field also managed to have kids and earn their MD? Family support. Families aren’t being taken advantage of. They’re making things possible.
