@brentmulligan @RogersWork @EggerDC It was not an unrealistic outcome, it was maybe a 20% possibility. And I don’t see why severely degrading the Iranian regime isn’t a partial win even if it did not collapse completely. Objectively we have weakened them considerable and that is good.

If after like a few days the regime fell and we had an Iran that was aligned with our values it would of been an amazing move. The problem is that Trump was able to be sold on a really unrealistic outcome. So he should have never done it unless he was willing to form a coalition and send in half a million men.
