@Tradermayne 1 lbs ground chicken: $4 1 uncle Ben’s rice: $2.50 1 portion of veggies: $1.50 or less Great daily lunch if you care about protein (80 to 100g protein) and costs $8 instead of $28. Most people could get 2 servings out of the chicken, so it saves even more.

@theyondan @TheStrongDad This mentality leads to more novice and intermediate lifters getting hurt. If you have to throw any semblance of standards out the window and fight or flight YOLO the weight up, you’re not accomplishing anything except risking injury.

@TheStrongDad He isn't a competitive powerlifter. The bar hit his chest, he ground it up without assistance. No need to be a dick about it.

@CalisthenicKyle @TheJoeySwoll As someone who has been recording in the gym for 15 years: when you choose to film then you choose to deal with any and every slight inconvenience that may befall you. It’s not on others to keep an eye out for your camera.

@Bartek_Kamyk_ I’ve never seen the barbell move more up and down the back than it moves vertically through its intended ROM. Honestly impressive

@SaltyTroonTears @BowTiedYukon “Man I really wish I could do some wrist extensions or free weight external rotation or any kind of rehab work here but coach says we are too TUFF so we aren’t allowed to have weights below 40lbs…” Really silly to anyone who understands S&C lol

@SwoleBadguy @BowTiedYukon Practically speaking, D1 athletes aren’t doing a crazy amount of stuff with lower weights anyway. These guys are already very big and strong. I just think it’s a bit silly.

@SaltyTroonTears @BowTiedYukon Even the sentiment is dumb. It gives “dad who used to work out in high school tries to design a training center” energy. Cute idea but fails on every level when you have an IQ above 60

@BowTiedYukon I get the sentiment, but in practice I think this is pretty trash. There’s a lot of uses for dumbbells that light, especially for accessory movements or hypertrophy tactics like drop sets etc.

@blakes_online It’s insane to me that someone can use full sized plates, stand on normal ground, and use a normal grip and hit full rom. I have to stand on something, use a wide grip, AND stack 25lbs plates on the bar and I still hit the ground before full ROM 😮‍💨 jealous

Arturo...please get help. It's 35 degrees + windy and you walking outside in a t-shirt 🤣 You will never change cause you refuse to seek actual help and be held accountable for your actions. SAY NO TO DRUGS!!!!!
Arturo Sanchez@nycfurby

Btw, I can’t wait to see @bum163 face to face. I can cook him without throwing a single punch. I can’t wait. You should have shown sympathy for my father’s death instead of trying to weaponize it, fool. Remember I met your mother and she fed me? I showed her respect didn’t I? What’s good now nigga? Try the same energy you tried earlier pussy. I forgive you. You have something to say? Pull up, Bum. YOU AND @IFCYIPES DO NOT EXIST WITHOUT MYSELF SND SPOOKY GIVING YOU A PLATFORM. IF REMIX WAS HERE HED SLAP THE SHIT OUT OF YIPES. On GOD nigga. And BlueJ would check him. I have no sponsors. I’m king. Enjoy my energy

@alphafox In case anyone cares, this is also awful for weightlifting. The weight isn’t symmetrical all the way around and will “pull” towards one direction during movements that don’t move in a straight line. Even for straight movements, it teaches you not to properly control the bar. Bad

@CFC_Estevao @DudeAccount1337 @ThorBjornsson_ I don’t have time to explain the nuances about how injury, intensity regulation, weight selection, and Ronnie Coleman’s botched surgeries all work. You’ve already shown you’re unwilling to learn and this is a waste of my time so again I will bid you farewell.

Before anyone mentions the arch, it’s intentional. No back issues here. It’s a powerlifting style I adopted years ago, not something I recommend for beginners.

@SwoleBadguy @DudeAccount1337 @ThorBjornsson_ Ronnie coleman disagrees, same with squats, a weight he did all the time, multiple reps and just one rep and gets a herniated disc, both not worth it imo

@SwoleBadguy @DudeAccount1337 @ThorBjornsson_ Yeah it's not impressive for a deadlift, but IF YOU DO have bad technique for even one rep you can massively ruin your back for life. Not a difficult concept to understand. You can get a strong and big back without doing it. Hth

@CFC_Estevao @DudeAccount1337 @ThorBjornsson_ I can lift 200kg with a rounded spine and I’m trained with a more neutral spine. Some people use a fully rounded spine and lift hundreds more than me with zero issue. The weight is arbitrary and so it technique. Learn weight selection instead of fearing a basic exercise.

@SwoleBadguy @DudeAccount1337 @ThorBjornsson_ I didn't say it was brittle but obviously lifting 200kg plus on your back and one wrong move and it's going to cause big problems if done wrong. Not a difficult concept to understand

@CFC_Estevao @DudeAccount1337 @ThorBjornsson_ I get that you’re scared due to your bias and one clip you saw on JRE. If you personally want to have a funky training plan and avoid basic movements, that’s perfectly fine, but the vast majority of us are gonna deadlift and get strong as hell with zero issues because it’s safe.

@SwoleBadguy @DudeAccount1337 @ThorBjornsson_ Not nearly as badly though lmao Machine rows and lat pull downs won't damage your nearly as bad as a deadlift injury would. That's the whole point. Can you do deadlifts safe and are they a good exercise? Ofcourse? But one wrong move and you can break your back. Hth
