@Acyn Mark his words! It’s a volume thing. NATO will be there soon, and this will be solved, and I won’t be tolerating any revisionist history from Trump critics. Trump is usually ahead of the pack. That’s what good leaders do.

Reporter: You said opening the strait of hormuz is a simple military maneuver. What did you mean by that? Trump: It's a simple maneuver. You need volume. NATO could help us. They haven’t had the courage to do so. At a certain point, it will open itself

@CalJamieson Stop saying ‘read a history book’ you ridiculous pseud. Lots of us have ‘read history books’ to point we can acknowledge complexity without becoming literal apologists for terrorism.

Today is the 33rd anniversary of the day the IRA bombed Warrington town centre and killed my son Tim and 3 yr old Johnathan Ball. Words can never describe how losing a child leaves a huge hole in your heart and your family. Eternal love Tim ❤️❤️

@EdwardJDavey Protestant Christianity is a fundamental British value. Its constitutional privileges are enshrined in the Treaty of Union. Islam has no rights here.

@TrentTelenko Don’t talk shite. In a few weeks the Trump Show will have moved on to Cuba and he will be saying he never liked Farage, he never had sex with Stormy, and Walt Disney is his new Secretary of State.

This is after PM Starmer broke US faith in the "special relationship." There will be long lasting strategic repercussions for this British domestic political theater that rival PM Anthony Eden's performance in the 1956 Suez Crisis. 1/2

BREAKING: The UK has approved U.S. use of RAF Fairford and Diego Garcia to carry out strikes on Iranian missile sites targeting shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, under collective self-defense, The Times reports.

@ScottDoesShit_ @almurray @TrentTelenko It’s hard though. You can’t dismiss the bluster of an idiot if he has the levers of the most powerful country in the world at his disposal. Lawrie Freedman did a piece at start of administration: how do you deal with unserious people in charge of a really serious country?

@TCNetwork The more digging you do on Churchill, the darker and darker it gets. Alcoholic, drunk, glory seeking brute who suddenly gets bailed out by a group of jewish bankers just in time to get Britain in a position to ally with the Bolsheviks in Russia against Germany. Scary stuff.

@backtivist @NaimeLuigi @frontlinekit True, but 'narrative' appears increasingly important strategic tool in modern war, to the point client journalists are active participants. TBH, here, I think you're right. rus not actively involved, so he deserves protection as journalist. If in Ukraine, he's legitimate target

@backtivist @NaimeLuigi @frontlinekit They hanged William Joyce. UK not at war with russia so not the same crime, but they are still a hostile nation & RT is a proscribed organisation, so his human rights are only russia's concern.

@CreativeDeduct @DPJHodges If we are a country shaped by Christian values, then those values will already, during 1,200+ years of common law, legislation and case law, have shaped the legal system in such a way that they are elevated. For various historical reasons that now includes religious freedom.

@DPJHodges What if you believe that a country shaped by Christian values should elevate those values above 'foreign' values and treat them differently? I'm not saying I agree with that, but is it a valid and legitimate position to take?

If you want to argue public spaces should not be used for worship - because that’s exclusionary - fine. But condemning just one religious group, in this case Muslims, is bigotry. I’m not sure what the debate is.

@RealDonKeith Obviously you're wrong (not your fault if you're American) but in a way it is a nice change to see you people standing up for an African immigrant against British policemen, even if you have no context for why he was being arrested or whether he was even charged.
