Response to statement from Paul Keating: I always suspected that Paul Keating didn’t support Australian values, but now he has dropped any pretence. To suggest it is “racist” to put Australian values at the centre of our immigration policy shows just how out of touch he is with Australians, as is the Labor Party. This is the immigration policy we have to have. Immigration numbers are too high. Immigration standards are too low. And both must change. It’s time for Paul Keating and the Labor Party to put Australians and Australian values first.

So @AustralianLabor the so-called Party of the worker has created record unemployment & underemployment because of its policies that demonise & penalise big & small business. Keating delivered the “recession we had to have” @JEChalmers @AlboMP didn’t want to be outdone by his hero. Chalmers hasn’t got a clue about managing an economy. Writing a book about a Treasurer doesn’t cut it. His only solution to managing the economy is to spend & tax more. Who would want to start a business in this country with the red, green & indigenous imposts? Australia is stuffed & that will be Labor’s legacy.
