Anyone else noticed that not one of Scotland, Ireland or Italy have been able to back up the performances they’ve put in against England the week after? Coincidentally all against Wales, but just shows how everyone gets up that little bit more to play us. I’m sure people will disagree or argue this or even claim it’s just being bitter but facts are facts.

@hazyipa85 @slatterywill The ref in the Scotland match (who was English) missed multiple offsides and infringements. Ireland were the better team, however they were massively assisted. Frustrating as it was, you just have to park that bus I’m afraid.

been saying all tournament the officiating against England has been horrendous. Penalty try and a yellow card for England when France also collapsed the mall. The last France try came from an England advantage which apparently the referee decided to forget about or not call. The French guy in the sin bin, but yet there was no penalty given. There were a handful of other calls which France got the benefit of the doubt of. We did not have a good tournament but we were absolutely targeted by officiating and the RFU need to complain about this because it changed the outcomes of games. I text my dad if the referee stays out of the game I think we have a good chance to beat France, if he cards in England player, it will change the course of the game. It’s predictively corrupt at this point.

I asked the First Minister for an assurance that conservation-accredited registered engineers with the right expertise would be brought in to assess the remaining elevation to Gordon Street for any possibility of its preservation or careful dismantling for future reinstatement. I also contacted Glasgow City Council’s Head of Building Control on Monday to introduce a conservation-accredited engineer and architect who have offered their support to assess the remaining structure, but we have yet to receive any response. It is therefore disappointing that Glasgow City Council, who have no in-house conservation-accredited engineers, have condemned this listed building to a full demolition within a matter of hours of the site being handed over, without first undertaking this prudent step, which has been the subject of a long-running campaign for reform in the Scottish Parliament. Like at the Ayr Station Hotel, elements of this iconic listed building which could be preserved may now be destroyed unnecessarily. I hope that Glasgow City Council will at least laser scan the surviving elevation to enable a faithful reinstatement and undertake a careful hand demolition process that can 'flat pack' as much of the surviving structure as possible if a retaining scaffolding cannot be erected to all or part of the façade.

Still trying to get my head around everything we saw at Murrayfield yesterday, but this was a huge miss from the officials. If France go down to 14 at this stage, perhaps that late flurry of tries doesn’t happen and Scotland go into the last weekend top of the table.

This is not political and I for one am in favour. It’s been a tough five or six years with Covid and I think it’s a good idea. A good idea for wee boys and girls to be able to watch with mum or dad or wider family and friends.
