@GBSHansO @FurkanGozukara Honest thoughts on this? The LDS Church (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) used a network of 13 shell LLCs, created by its investment manager, Ensign Peak Advisers, to hide an approx ($32) billion equity portfolio from 1997 to 2019. Millions in fines.

Imagine that… A religious institution that isn’t pillaged by fraud. A sect of people devoted to paying God and not church employees. You want a real story!?! Look how much it gives to charity annually while still being responsible. Hell… If the Government ran like our church, we’d pay 10% tax and thrive. I’m shocked by people’s shock of an honest tithe and honest tithe takers.

Absolute insanity. An expert filmmaker exposes how the Mormon Church is hoarding a staggering 350 billion dollars and buying up massive amounts of American land while still demanding money from its followers. The religious corporate greed is terrifying.

President Oaks is 93 years old. Remarkable stamina. His body is weakening, I notice his slight tremor, but he speaks with clarity and power. He is a prophet of God. He is led by the Head of the Church, Jesus Christ. #PresidentOaks #GeneralConference

The LDS church baptized more people in 2025 than any year on record - a 25% increase over 2024. Last month there was a week with 10,000 baptisms & 2,500 missionary applications - both records. 2026 will blow 2025 out of the water. Christianity is booming - Happy Easter!

Now the fun part is sifting through all the lies and hate of Joseph Smith to find his truth. He was the 1st American Presidential candidate to be assassinated. He completed translation of the Book of Mormon in about 70 days. Around 580 pages. He reorganized a church that has stood strong and continues to grow and be financially stable for 200 years in just 38 short years of life. He had multiple wives, but children with only one. He saw his beloved brother Hyrum shot in the face standing for what Joseph believed in just before being killed himself. The restoration of this established gospel was sealed with an American man’s blood…. And it needs to be clear. He didn’t restore the church of Mormon, or the church of Joseph. He restored the church of Jesus Christ. My ancestors stood by him. And so will I.

This was my first General Conference since I realised 'Mormons' aren't 'a polygamous version of the Amish.' 😂 Late last year I casually wondered, 'What do the Mormons actually believe?' Months later, I'm reading the Book of Mormon daily and felt compelled to watch the General Conference. Here's my biggest takeaway: If the people attacking the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints spent just two hours watching one session, I think their views would shift. How can you sit through that spirit, that sincerity, and still see these people as 'lost' or 'evil'? It's mind-boggling. I'm also really grateful for all the LDS friends on X who, knowingly or not, helped me learn and understand more along the way. Whatever path this takes, whether I eventually join or say, 'Fascinating, I respect it deeply, but I'll stay with my Dutch Reformed church', I'm profoundly grateful. The Lord used simple curiosity to change my relationship with Him, how I see the world, and how I face adversity.

Gonna post something vulnerable. I’ll probably regret it. But, hoping that some people might feel like they’re not alone in their feelings is more important. I do not look forward to general conference. It usually makes me feel badly about myself. The last 5 years, my testimony has dwindled more and more. I’ve done all the things I’ve been told would fix that, and none of them do. I’m at peace with it. I feel very good about how I feel. I feel at peace. I still go and attend, because it means the world to my wife, and she means the world to me. I live all the principles and commandments of the church and enjoy doing so. I still have, and always will have a recommend. Conference is hard though, because I hear over and over a message of “do this and this, and the answers will come”. I’ve done, and still do all those things, and the answers don’t come. It’s not peaceful for me. It makes me feel like something is wrong with me. A few years ago, it took me to a very dark place. Very dark. I don’t want to ever go back there. This time of year kind of takes me back there. I’m sharing this because I know I’m not the only one. Also, I share this in hopes that people can be a little more aware that some people struggle. I don’t want a different life. There are many principles about the church that I love. But, I’m just to the point that I hope all of us find what makes us happy, and then we love that thing.

It is WILD to me that people will be like, "How can you vote for Trump? He's so immoral!" and then turn around and vote for a political party that: -Supports abortion -Supports trans (literally can't even define what a woman is anymore) -Supports gay marriage (destruction of nuclear family) -Decriminalize drugs -Is completely soft on criminal justice -Refuses to enforce any immigration standard -Prioritizes immigration over public safety -Turns a blind eye to any and all fraud -Cares nothing about ethics of voting -Supported job loss if didn't get COVID vaccine -Wanted to jail you and separate children from parents over not getting the COVID vaccine If you can name five things that Republicans in general support with respect to platform that are in complete opposition to basic Christian morality, then aight, let's hear it. I'm not talking about Trump, I'm talking about the Republican party platform vs. the Democrat party platform. I do not think you can. Meanwhile, it is incredibly easy to name BIG things with the Democrats.

They said members will be blessed by these changes. So this was never really about the schedule. It is about whether we trust the leaders we raise our hands to sustain.

Just go back to 3 hour church or shorten sacrament meeting if you want to meet each class/quorum each week… 25 minutes isn’t enough to have a real meaningful lesson in either class.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints@Ch_JesusChrist

In advance of the upcoming general conference leadership session (April 2, 2026), The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced upcoming adjustments to the Sunday class meeting schedule to support members in their efforts to be lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ. The adjustments will strengthen gospel learning in homes and congregations throughout the world. Beginning September 6, 2026, the alternating weekly schedule for Sunday School and quorum or class meetings will be replaced. Under the updated schedule: • Sunday School, Relief Society, elders quorum, Young Women and Aaronic Priesthood quorum meetings will be held each week. • Sacrament meeting will continue to be 60 minutes, followed by brief transition periods. • Sunday School and quorum and class meetings will each be 25 minutes. • Primary will continue every Sunday and will be 55 minutes, held while adults and youth attend their respective classes. • Where local circumstances necessitate, units may begin with Primary and quorum and class meetings and conclude with sacrament meeting. Here's a CURRENT 40-second video of my backyard for the last 15 years. It's a total war zone, and a wasteland of filth and homeless encampments. Please stay in your valley suburbs, you could/might have too good of a time coming down here and keep coming back. Go Utes!

I’m becoming more and more convinced that Utah basketball (the Utes) will never recover. And, I think a lot of it is to blame on us fans. Personally, I haven’t been to a game in I don’t know how many years. Who wants to play in front of a thousand people? You get better crowds at high school games.

Wild that Whittingham winds up getting $13.5 mil from Utah to leave and 75% guaranteed on a $41 million deal from Michigan. Plus, takes 7 staffers and a handful of players to kickstart the Michigan job. Good gig if you can get it.

New documents shed light on how Kyle Whittingham's exit with the Utes ended. "Coach Whittingham does not intend to retire at the conclusion of the 2025 football season," Whitt's agent wrote in Decemeber. Here's how the process unfolded behind the scenes: sltrib.com/sports/utah-ut…

At the end, all this shows is that there was no "good guy" here. It was naive of Utah to assume Kyle would just slide away gracefully. It was a dick move by Kyle to poach coaches when the agreement stated to help with the transition. The real loser here is us tbh.
