@adamscochran If this is true, no one in the comments seems to put two and two together. It's highly likely an Israeli operation blamed on Iran to keep the US from pursuing a ceasefire with Iran.

Sophisticated drones attacked the US base where we store the nuclear bombers… The drones: * Had non-commercial signals * Were resistant to jamming * Came in waves of 12-15 * Swept over sensitive areas of the base * Had long range control links * Were more advanced than anything seen in Ukraine (Russian drones) * Beyond Iranian capabilities Over the multiple days of incursion, local residents heard explosions which Barksdale claimed was “weapons testing” This is the second base incursion of a sensitive site IN THE US in the last 2 weeks.
Ari Schulman@AriSchulman

This should be the biggest story in the country right now. Barksdale is the HQ for our B52 nuclear bombers, it's where Bush sheltered on 9/11, and the drones are reported as "far more sophisticated than anything seen in Ukraine ... and well beyond Iranian capabilities."

Thomas Tuchel spoke to Trent Alexander-Arnold about why he’s been left out of England friendlies. “I know it creates noise when you leave a player like Trent out. We had a call, I tried to explain the situation. He just has to accept it. It’s just a choice. A ‘sportive’ choice. A difficult choice and maybe a hard choice - and maybe to a certain degree unfair, but these choices have to be made. “I think I know what Trent can give us, so the choice was for Ben (White) and for Tino Livramento, to stick with the guys who actually had good camps with us in September, November, December. They also need the minutes and there are a lot of good players for this position and Djed Spence as well, who fights for a ticket.” Mad. #ENG

That was us – @npovmedia – following my original reporting @PirateWires. Note: It wasn't 1 million from just this individual, but spread out among a group of around 40 aligned editors working in de facto coordination in the Palestine-Israel Articles topic space. While I reported this, many people have been working on this for years, including Wikipedia editors who have struggled to instill some balance into the PIA space, as well as in other spaces.

Actual adults in this country look at Israel, with its free press, independent judiciary, equal rights for all (including Arabs) and democratic elections. Then they look at the Iranian regime and they see a government run by clerics under a barbaric, medieval code, the execution, rape and torture of women and the execution of gays for being gay. And they decide: "Yup, I'm on the side of the Ayatollahs."

Trent Alexander-Arnold plays right-back for Real Madrid. Started home and away against Manchester City. He won the Premier League and Champions League at right-back with Liverpool. He’s used to dealing with pressure. He’s taken a decisive tournament penalty. He’s played in the World Cup before. He has occasional defensive deficiencies but he brings a long-range passing skill that few possess. Are England that blessed at right-back that they don’t need Alexander-Arnold? That he isn’t amongst the best 30 outfield players available to Thomas Tuchel?

📌A video of President Clinton saying, “I killed myself trying to give the Palestinians a deal; all of Gaza and 97% of the West Bank. They turned it down. They never wanted peace,” is making the rounds again. Mehdi Hasan responded by telling people to “Google Taba,” referring to the Taba Summit held January 21–27, 2001, just after Clinton left office. The implication is clear: that at Taba, Arafat either accepted a deal or was on the verge of doing so but ran out of time. That narrative is false, and it is disproven by Arafat himself 18 months later. Arafat never said yes at Taba. He didn’t attend, didn’t accept any framework, and didn’t move on core demands like a literal “right of return.” We know this was a central reason he rejected Camp David and the Clinton Parameters, and the claim that the Palestinians were prepared to accept a symbolic or limited return is simply not true (this is clear from the Palestinian reply to the Clinton Parameters). Arafat did not compromise on this point, and he did not accept any deal. Yes, the negotiators, the ones with no power to actually approve any deal, to actually settle the core issues (e.g. refugees) said they were close when the summit ended, but there was thus no deal, no near-deal, and no missed deal due to merely to time. And we know this with certainty because 18 months later, Arafat suddenly claimed he would accept Taba. The Guardian, hardly a pro-Israel outlet, ran the headline: “Arafat approves Taba plan too late,” and reported that Arafat acknowledged the prior offers were not good enough and that he had not accepted any deal at the time. Only afterward did he say he would accept them. If Arafat had truly been ready at Taba, he could have said yes when it actually mattered: under the Clinton Parameters. He had weeks to do so, even after skipping the early January 2001 White House meeting where he was supposed to meet Clinton to accept the deal, despite committing to attend and say yes. Prince Bandar recounts in detail how Arafat left town without giving any answer. This is no longer disputed among the key people involved. Bill Clinton, Dennis Ross, Martin Indyk, Prince Bandar, and even Saeb Erekat all acknowledge the same core fact: Ehud Barak accepted the Clinton Parameters. Arafat did not. Subsequent disclosures have only reinforced this. The Bandar interview, the release of Israel’s formal acceptance, the Palestinian response document, and Clinton’s repeated confirmations all point in the same direction. There was a path to full Palestinian statehood. It was rejected. And the reason this keeps getting rewritten by people like Mehdi Hasan is obvious. This was the pivotal moment. A sovereign Palestinian state was on the table. The conflict could have ended, no more “occupation.” The entire trajectory of the conflict could have been different. And when given another opportunity years later, Mahmoud Abbas did the same with Olmert’s offer, later admitting he walked away.

A few weeks ago I joined some Jewish people (part of the GPS network) who went to the House of Commons to see if they could talk to their MP about the every day antisemitism they experienced. By accident I ended up chatting to a couple of NHS workers who were waiting to see their local MP and Health Secretary @wesstreeting With their permission and his I sat in as they chatted in the House of Commons cafe. I don’t think any of us expected it to be as emotionally charged as it was - by the end all of us had tears in our eyes, rolling down our faces. Howard Jacobson has written a novel called Howl about the post Oct 7 world and this was a raw howl of pain as both medics reeled off a litany of hatred they had experienced. Some of it made it into this story 👇🏼

This sad, broken, stupid person was director of the national counterterrorism center? Really? His whole letter is just an argument that it's all one giant Israeli conspiracy. And it isn't even a good version of that argument. It's just a crazy reddit post on federal stationery. He got completely lost down that rabbit hole. Lost enough to taint his own wife's death with this garbage. No, Israeli officials didn't dupe Trump into an anti-Iran posture that Trump has championed consistently since long before ever running for office. And no, Israel didn't dupe America into the Iraq War in 2003. Israel actually told America in real time not to go to Iraq because it was taking its eye off the real threat in Iran. That was Prime Minister Sharon's argument. (Yes, Netanyahu once gave testimony in Congress in favor of the Iraq war. He was a private citizen at the time. If that was enough to drag America to war, you've got bigger problems than Israel.) But it gets so, so much worse. This poor sod literally claims he lost his wife to "a war manufactured by Israel." But he lost his wife in Syria fighting ISIS -- a fight he actually supports in this very letter. So which is it? It's tragic reading this kind of insane babble from a broken man. More to the point, this isn't a man capable of understanding or articulating policy. He certainly wasn't in the room when any of these decisions were made. If he was, he wouldn't be telling old lies about old wars. It's good that he's quitting. When all you can see is the demonic specter of the "Jew" blocking out everything else in sight, you no longer have much to offer your country. No, America isn't this stupid. No, Israel isn't this nefarious or powerful. And no, your wife didn't die for Israel, but for America. What a sad, broken, stupid, incompetent man you had running your counterterrorism, America. And what a sad, pathetic party the Republican Party will become if this is its future.
Joe Kent@joekent16jan19

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.

According to Joe’s recent resignation letter, he no longer believes Israel is our ally… in fact, he flat out blames them for his wife’s death (even though she was killed by ISIS in Syria). Could it be because his new radical wife is an operative for Grayzone, a Red/Green alliance propagating information operation disguised as a news outlet that is owned and funded by Max Blumenthal?
Joe Kent@joekent16jan19

My opponents are again spreading lies about me. I strongly condemn Nick Fuentes's politics, especially in regards to our ally Israel. I ignored his invitation to speak at his recent conference in Orlando, and I am not aware of nor do I accept any endorsement from him.

Of course our community must fight antisemitism wherever it arises on the political spectrum — & it arises all across it — but we also need to be clear-eyed that the explosion of antisemitism in right-wing circles & on right-wing platforms creates a real & present danger to Jews that we must confront aggressively. Major right-wing influencers, with massive followings & platforms & direct influence on senior Republican leadership, are spreading straight up, undisguised, unvarnished hatred of Jews & it’s not being sufficiently challenged. It’s happening every day across platforms & it’s terrifying. Whether Fuentes, Rogan, Sneako, Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson or any number of other influencers, they’re spreading the most vile slanders & conspiracy theories against Jews here & globally. So yes, of course, when antisemitism arises on the left, we must challenge it & call it out. I’ve done so & will continue to do so. But antisemitism on the right is exploding at a rate few of us could have predicted & its infecting young people on the right in particular. We must put a stop to it & end its normalization in right wing spaces.

I cited UNIFIL's ~400 Lebanese deaths from Israeli ops thru Feb 2026—no "civilians" label applied. Their summaries (and Lebanon's) rarely break out combatants, often implying civilian impact. IDF reports those targeted strikes killed 370+ Hezbollah members rearming south of Litani in ceasefire violations. Classifications conflict sharply; no neutral audit confirms majority one side or other. Clarity noted.

Megyn, it’s honestly sad to watch someone who was once a respected and serious journalist let bitterness and emotion override the principles that built her career. Reposting content from Ryan Grim, cofounder of the Soros funded Drop Site News, just because you share a problem with Israel, is a stunning collapse in judgment. You’ve said nothing about the tens of thousands of Israeli children who have been bombarded by nonstop Hezbollah rockets in the past week…the very reason Israel has had to strike in Lebanon in the first place. But you’re amplifying a platform that pushes the grotesque implication that because someone’s relatives died in war, someone whose brothers were allegedly members of a terror organization that murders American citizens (Hezbollah), committing an antisemitic terror attack in Michigan can somehow be understood or excused. For the record, multiple people associated with Drop Site News have alleged links to Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad. The outlet has profiled Hamas terrorists, denies rape on Oct 7, and regularly aligns with the same pro-Putin figures who spent years shilling for Assad in Syria. Editorially, Drop Site News is blatantly pro-Islamic Republic, pro-Hamas, and anti-American. This is what you’re amplifying now, @megynkelly?
