He laid out a 4-point roadmap for surgeon retention in our rural communities: 🔹 Train: Expanding specialized education. 🔹 Promote: Creating clear career pathways. 🔹 Equip: Providing the essential "Tools of the Trade" to get the job done. 🔹 Advocate: Pushing the government to provide social amenities (housing, schools, etc.) that make rural placement sustainable. I feel sorry for long stay patients. 3 months plus on a ward. At one point I believe they lose hope in healing. Like there's a world out there but you can't be a part of it because of illness. Imagine! Good health, so much underrated
