@thecybersurg Tip: if you need to haul all the plants as well as that much potting soil and ensure they're not crushed by the low truck bed, my 20 year old Prius does the same job, and I assume the newer plugin & EV versions can too

@Mahimarina @FourWinns298 The point being you can have a manageable disability or chronic illness that never gave you any trouble, then you get Covid which aggravates it and turns it into something far more dangerous, even lethal, and people write off your death because you had a pre-existing condition.

@FourWinns298 I have been trying to write articles for the official “post pandemic.” I have come to realize that my dominant emotion is not even righteous indignation. It is profound sadness. Just limitless. Sadness. The price that has been paid and the price yet to come. 😞

I started a state of the virus tweet at 4 this morning as we enter the 4th year. By 4:10 it was a 32 part tweet that was depressing and nothing anyone would want to read. 3 years ago we were in a zoom call talking about this and I broached this would be a 5 year event.

The couple in the next sleeper cabin who coughed & sneezed for 3 days from LA to Chicago probably thinks covid is mild. (Took train to avoid exposure; didn't spot sliding door with gap in wall until too late).

@Mahimarina @FourWinns298 I'm so pissed about people dismissing disabled dying of Covid. I was born with rheumtoid arthritis: a minor nuisance for 51 years. After 3 years in isolation with latest vax, weng on first trip, got covid, and it made autoimmune disease go nuts, attacking eye, blind 3 months.

@pokegenieinfo Never mind. I finally figured it out. Apparently all my devices simultaneously decided to have some "me" time and activated Do Not Disturb without informing me. 😅

@pokegenieinfo Has something happened to iVision today? No longer working on ipad or iphone; was working before event, and I haven't changed notification settings. (I just checked "allow" was still on, restarted both devices, made sure apps were current, restarted apps.)

@audendum Aha, so THAT'S why i binged air crash investigation shows during lockdown. It seemed awfully morbid. But they almost always figure out what caused the crash, and then the NTSB & FAA issue recommendations and/or directives so it can't happen again.
