In this case, the merchant issued the refund as a separate transaction rather than reversing the original one (in which case the same FX rate would have held). Thanks for sharing this and all of the detail. The merchant charges and refunds in USD/original currency, and then we exchange at the latest spot right. So I imagine the FX market moved at that time not in your favor. I will ask the team to confirm for these specific transactions and I will get back in touch if we find something anomalous.

So the payment for the card is instant. So here in the list you can see the banks I can request the money from. Wealthsimple doesn’t support this. Thank you

@bretthuneycutt @Wealthsimple You need US RRIF and US RLIF accounts. I transferred a bunch because I was told no FX fees but that doesn't apply to those registered accounts, so 1.5% fee each time. Have to transfer out again. What a hassle.

@bretthuneycutt Love the fintech, been a client since 2019. You guys should offer the same features credit card but that of Mastercard as well. Let the customer choose if they want Visa or Mastercard. Mastercard works at Costco and Visa does not. I know many people like me who just want that one credit card that works and earns for me everywhere. Make it simple @Wealthsimple @grok please post the $ amounts of revenue posted by both Walmart Canada and Costco Canada in Canadian $ for the year 2025.
