Cite the New Testament scripture that supports your argument. Because the passages I didn’t mention are also in the New Testament and in apocrypha, Jesus also states that he hasn’t come to change the law (the Old Testament) but to fulfill. That is the theological position. If you’re saying the new testament has a greater focus on mercy, that’s true but there are many statements clarifying even that. Paul states multiples times that the state does not wield the sword in vain.

The death penalty is incurred against those who commit heinous crimes. Why do you think these are comparable issues? The bible condemns abortion, (not explicitly, but it’s understood that scripture’s description of life before birth is sacred; Jeremiah 1:5, Psalms and other passages.) The bible also CONDONES the death penalty. When an adult commits a serious offense that is harmful to persons and or the community at large, the bible gives authority to whoever is in governance to carry out justice and execute criminals. It’s not considered “murder.” There is nuance when it comes to abortion, capital punishment, war, self defense etc. And it isn’t hypocrisy it’s reality.

I work in Enterprise IT and deal with end users all the time; people couldn't care less if the UI is inconsistent as long as it doesn't change. I've never had an end user complain that the UI wasn't modern enough. Your mistake is conflating people on Twitter and Microsoft fan sites with the average user.

The file copy dialog is already done internally, and the common file dialog is on the list. That matters because Windows 11 still feels split between two eras. Some parts look modern, while basic dialogs still feel like they were pulled from decades-old Windows code. The good news is this is not just “dark mode.” Microsoft is actually rebuilding these surfaces in WinUI. The concern, of course, is performance. WinUI has not always been fast. But Microsoft says the new Run dialog opens faster than the legacy one, with a 94ms median time-to-show versus 103ms for the old version. That is the right direction. @IanRunkle Ah. The old series got cancelled for 1 of 2 reasons. 1. They ran out of stories OR 2. They ran out of viewers So... they either need new characters for new stories or they need to appeal to new fans. You can't just remake a show and expect the world to show up at your door.

The problem with all of these remakes are like "We need to take an existing franchise and make it for the people who don't like the existing franchise". Cool. The people who don't like it won't see it, because of the name. The people who do like the existing franchise will hate it because it's not what they want. It's like buying out McDonald's and deciding to make it a steakhouse. It's an idiot move. Correct move: Make the remake show new fans why the old fans love it. Or don't make it at all.

Your first mistake is using dating apps. Capitalist run dating apps have a financial incentive to string you along; there is no profit in matching you with someone because then you have no need for their services.
