In San Francisco, prior to doing work on one's home, you need to pay $3,356.74 for a "Historic Resource Report" What is a "Historic Resource Report"? It is a piece paper that says your house is not historic. Newsflash..... most homes are not historic. This is one of many examples of government overreach and bureaucracy in San Francisco. All of these hoops, hurdles, and fees prevent anything from getting built which leads to crazy housing costs. The worst of all is the wait times to get permits of any kind. The overall fees and carrying costs kill almost any project which means only the super wealthy can do real estate projects in San Francisco. It is a hidden form of discrimination IMO. We need to slash all of these ridiculous rules and fees if we want San Francisco to be affordable.

I know I've said this before but utilizing AI for home maintenance and repairs is such a cheat code. I consider myself an advance DIYer so I am comfortable doing most things around the house. Today's task is to address worn out suspension rods in our Samsung washing machine. The load stops 2-3 times per cycle with heavier items like comforters, etc. and it drives my wife crazy. I told ChatGPT the problem I was experiencing and in 5 seconds it validated that I was on the right track, listed possible solutions, part numbers with links, and even installation videos. I support the trades and other contractors but most small fixes around your home can be done by yourself on a weekend afternoon. The kind of repairs that contractors can hardly justify making the trip for. Big fan of leveraging AI for keeping your home humming along.

This is insane, @GoDaddy charged me 20 days early for a domain renewal. It didn't say in their renewal email, it doesn't say on their ToS and still they refuse to reverse the charge. They now claim it's TLD policy (.ai) but they fail to produce a link to such policy.

Should you do this? These structures can work, but you need a professional to guide you with the offshore structuring - and everyone's case ends up being a bit different And remember, everything must be reported. It's not a game of hide & seek, but show & tell
