Instagram still hasn't (correctly) patched their AI goop account reset thingy. Accounts are still being stolen and Instagram hasn't said anything about it. Nerds continue to find ways to convince AI to reset accounts for them. People on social media are freaking out because some of these profiles apparently are big sources of revenue for them. Meanwhile, rumors are floating around that a few weeks ago Instagram laid off a large percentage of their Trust & Safety department and had it replaced with AI. Very cool

All exploits have been fully patched. Do not fall victim to scams. Anyone selling a username method, exploit, or promoting a channel in exchange for a username is not going to get you the username. Love y’all. Been leaking since day 1 youtube.com/conetic

⚠️BREAKING: Multiple 1L Instagram usernames appear to have been claimed via an exploit. Around 10 minutes ago, both @e and @f on Instagram were claimed through what appears to be an active exploit. Previous one letter Instagram handles have sold for $100K+.

I have been hacked somehow when having 2FA on my account. There is a bug / exploit going around where anyone can login and change your password. @instagram I lost my user @darkrai from this bug and cannot do anything about it, please fix this shit

It’s likely because there was a massive Instagram / Meta exploit over the weekend that was just patched. Basically the Meta AI support is garbage and has lots of access perms which allowed you to reset passwords to any user without 2FA and did not verify who you are. Telegram channels on Instagram offering IG black market services made lots of $$$
