@bentossell Email really a has become more of just a feed and I think email marketers now treat it as such too

somewhat accidentally i treat email as a background job i only look at every so often per week nearly 0 emails are urgent most are asks from someone else (99% you don't owe them)

the chops.md tool has become a pretty powerful little utility to manage skills + agents! i can't help but feel like it's a little bland, though. uses all stock macOS design elements and just lacks...personality? stumped on how to fix it.

okay, yes it's only been an hour, but HOLY MOLY is this so much better than telegram. absolutely love having multiple channels. even got 🦞 to audit its memory and automatically seed the discord server with the channels i'd likely find most useful.

I started my first job in a decade. Last fall, @CameronSorsby reached out to ask if I could do a workshop at @AlphaSchoolATX on vibe coding. I had a blast, and was blown away by how sharp and entrepreneurial the students were. Cameron and I kept talking, discussing his plans to expand Alpha’s entrepreneurial and AI education, and the more we talked the more I realized I had to be a part of it. This week I officially joined as the “Head of Founder Development.” I’m working on expanding the high school’s AI and entrepreneurship curriculum, along with a much bigger project for the Fall I’ll be able to share soon. With young kids of my own and my deep frustration with the education system, @jliemandt and Alpha’s mission is one I’m extremely passionate about and thrilled to be a part of. If anyone is going to fix education, it’s us. Can’t wait to share more on what we’re building.

@ariozick generally speaking, i try hard to avoid letting any external sources have input without me in the middle. so like, it doesn't automatically read incoming emails or texts from anyone.

i 10000% get that lots of people are annoyed about 🦞. there's a ton of hype and a ton of grifters trying to make a quick buck (hello mute and block feature). but there's also genuinely a lot of really interesting things happening in the space. even if on the surface it seems like a waste of time, the experimenting happening right now will definitely have a big impact on the future of AI usage. and i think THAT is what's really exciting right now. seeing trends emerge. following along with that isn't for everyone. it's a firehose. but i *do* think if you have any interest in AI, it's worth at least checking in every week to see what folks are doing in the space.

Claude Code built me an immersive software course in 5 minutes. It has 5 worlds, 20 levels, full lore and to beat the final boss, I have to rebuild unfinished software that was almost complete before the lead developer mysteriously disappeared. Gamified and customized build-to-learn is the future of education.

Too many ideas. Not enough time. I want an app I can just send ideas to and have it collect resources/inputs over time (because I'm constantly being inspired). That way, when I do have a few spare moments, I have a nicely organized collection of "ideas and context" to start from. It could also start planning some of them, and evolve the plan as I send it more things. ... And now I have another idea of something I'd love to build if I had more time 😅
