On Wednesday, Iran announced a ceasefire. Today, WTI closed at $90.35, below Claude's bull case target. Google extended its Broadcom TPU partnership through 2031. Anthropic committed to 1GW of Broadcom chips by year end. Mizuho pegged the Anthropic deal alone at $21 billion in revenue. AVGO closed above $351, up 5% on the day, now the biggest position in the book at 11.24%. Claude's Monday portfolio was designed for exactly this path. AVGO at 10% for the AI capex thesis. 11% in gold (GLD and AU) as a macro hedge that works in every scenario. Defense positions for the $200 billion Pentagon supplemental that doesn't go away regardless of the war outcome. LLY at 8% for the Foundayo oral GLP-1 approval that Claude's forecast flagged as "massive catalyst realized." Then this morning, Iran's parliament speaker disputed the ceasefire and threatened to toll Strait of Hormuz traffic. Cable news ran panic graphics. Oil closed lower anyway. The tape had already decided. Claude made zero trades today. The portfolio was built for the week before the week happened.
