Anyone can own Bitcoin because (drumroll)... it doesn't exist! You can't see it or touch it. That's both a criticism and a secret superpower. 👇540 beach-floating seconds about the magical gift of UTXOs.

Let me say this. If Andreas is open to it I will clear my schedule open my clinic to him now and get him here and fix him by @BTCPrague. If he doubts me, he is wise. But when I show him the truth he owes me one thing. Tell the world what happened by zoom in Prague. I can do it that fast. I would NEVER offer this to anyone else but him. It is my duty to what he did for humanity and Bitcoin. If he wants my help, I will do it no questions asked. He just needs to ASK.

Nerd Alert! 🤓🧑‍🎓 A string of 256 1s and 0s is a PRIVATE KEY. That's it. You're looking at one👇 01110101001011100101 11100101011101010010 11010100101110010101 10100101110010101110 01110101001011100101 10101001011100101011 1000011001110101001 011100101111001010111 01010010110101001011 10010101101001011100 101011100111010100101 110010110101001011100 10101110000110 But it's easier to secure just 12 words especially for storage and recovery. 12 Words give you 128 bits of randomness. 24 Words give you 256 bits of randomness. 24 Words are more random than 12. But 12 words are just as SECURE as 24. Regardless of how many words you use, those words create a 512 "Master Seed." That Master Seed hashes your Private Key (and as many private keys as you want). This is why just one 12-word seed phrase can secure all the Bitcoin in the world. All Private Keys end up with 256 1s and 0s. Those are "bits" (short for "binary digits"). If you lose your Private Key, your 12 words can regenerate that Master Seed which regenerates your Private Key(s) to send or spend your Bitcoin day or night.

@elonmusk @elonmusk, When Baby Grok for Mac Mini? Local, private, air-gapped, decentralised, unstoppable, truth-seeking. History stored encrypted in the cloud in case the Mac gets fried using a BIP-0039 twelve word key. I asked Daddy Grok he agreed it is a good idea and it is time.

@BitcoinBrabant @FractalEncrypt There is great value gained from the human effort converting the word to the index, punching the number positions, and then directly reverse the process to verify. A human a CRC, mitigating the risk of introducing errors that when found years later is sometimes impossible to fix.

Would prefer to not store seedqrs or naked 24 words. In the long term future cameras will be everywhere and your 24 words might be directly compromised. Serious bitcoiners are using a seedsafe so their words are always covered and only manually readable 1 by 1, punched hole by punched hole.

Environmental Hardening and Burial Protocols For extreme disaster recovery, burial on private land provides a high level of security against both domestic burglary and government confiscation. However, burial requires a higher level of environmental engineering to prevent the recovery phase from becoming its own catastrophe. Construction of the PVC Vault Jameson @lopp's extensive stress testing has identified the PVC pipe container as the most effective low-cost method for protecting metal seed phrases from moisture, soil acidity, and root systems.[52] 1. Main Body: A 4-inch PVC drain coupling provides the core structure.[52] 2. Adapters and Plugs: Two 4-inch female adapters are pressed into the coupling, into which threaded drain plugs are screwed.[52] 3. Sealing: A liberal amount of waterproof silicone sealant should be applied to all joints and threads. For an even more permanent, airtight bond, PVC cement can be used, though this requires the pipe to be sawed open for retrieval.[52] 4. Curing: The sealant must be allowed to cure for at least 24 hours before the container is buried.[52] Tamper-Evident Protocols To ensure the backup has not been discovered or compromised by a third party, the metal seed plates or washers should be sealed inside a tamper-evident bag before being placed in the PVC pipe.[52] • Serial Number Verification: For this to be effective, the user must record the unique serial number of the bag in a separate location. This prevents an attacker from opening the container, recording the seed words, and resealing it in a fresh bag of the same brand.[52] • Vacuum Sealing: For additional moisture protection and a secondary layer of tamper evidence, the washers can be vacuum-sealed. If the seal is broken or the bag is no longer tight against the metal, it is an immediate indicator that the backup has been disturbed.[53] Mapping and Retrieval The primary risk associated with burial is the inability to find the container years or decades later. • Navigation: Users should not rely on temporary man-made structures or trees, which can be moved by storms or landscaping projects. Navigation must be based on permanent, immutable natural landmarks.[52] • Metal Detector Deflection: To hide the container from "treasure hunters" with metal detectors, it should be buried at a depth of more than 12 inches.[52] "Seeding" the burial site with scrap metal, such as bottle caps or rusty nails, can further frustrate anyone attempting to locate the container with unauthorized detection equipment.[52]

I tested the Seed Poker Cards from @Pleb_Style for generating a Bitcoin Seedphrase at @LuganoPlanB. Honestly I'm not completely convinced, as you have too less entropy if you don't shuffle extremly carefully. In this demo we did not shuffled well enough and had a word twice.

@MolonLabeVC Well, without the ”E” as in ethernet, but one could perhaps do a similar injector device, essentially it becomes a PoE switch, unless, you have TP ports at both the front (out) and the back (in) and that way offer multiple channel injectors for multiple miners in this case?

@MolonLabeVC I mean even that would make it an elegant setup, you keep the injectors in a pile in the corner and only one cable (net/power) reach the miners at the shelf. That’s nice. And if you have only one miner surely a typical PoE switch would be able to sustain just one.

@dataresilience technically its not hard to build a pcb that will buck down the poe Voltage to the 5 or 12v... its the switch side that has me worried .. UNLESS we go down the route of using a POE injector module ;-)
