@0300dbdd1b @oomahq @CaminaDrummer4 But the thing you list as "the most important thing" is totally compromised. If a user sets OP_RETURN to 80 bytes as it was before the change, it should operate the same as before the change, but it doesn't. It still allows multiple OP_RETURN outputs, so "tweaking" it isnt 1:1.

@oomahq @CaminaDrummer4 The fix to prevent this is not at the policy level, that's why proposals such as BIP 54 are being pushed. To me the most important thing regarding policy is letting users have their own choice to tweak it. The default value in itself is mainly irrelevant.
