If the founders traveled forward in a time machine and observed the status quo prior to writing the Bill of Rights, I believe they would have considered an explicitly stated right to privacy (as Brandeis called it, a right to be let alone) to be as vital as any other protection.

@ZubyMusic @AOC Taxation and inflation are on the front- and back- end, respectively, of the actual theft (fraud).

@AOC The largest forms of theft are taxation and inflation. But do your thing.

The single largest form of theft in America is wage theft. $50 billion a year are stolen from American workers. If a billionaire amasses their wealth by underpaying their full-time workers so severely that they must rely on food assistance and government programs to survive, then no, that wealth was not earned by one individual - it was a wealth transfer subsidized by underpaid American workers and the public who get stuck with the bill for large corporations free-riding off our systems. The point is less about individual morality. It’s more about how our current economic reality of shattering inequality rewards screwing over workers and exploiting essential systems at scale. We’re talking monopoly power. Rent-seeking. Wage theft. Profiteering. Stock buybacks. Destabilizing housing markets. Companies using SNAP/EBT to underwrite their wages. Massive government subsidies or contracts to corporations following lobbying and dark money in politics with little to no oversight or accountability. Some people get enraged that I draw attention to this. That’s on them. Let them call me shrill, dumb, inexperienced, girly, uneducated - these folks will say anything to distract from or undercut the truth that working people are getting screwed, and giving people a fair shake means we must have a grown conversation about reigning in abuse of power.
Marco Foster@MarcoFoster_

AOC: “There’s a certain level of wealth and accumulation that is unearned. You can’t earn a billion dollars. You just can’t earn that. You can get market power, you can break rules, you can abuse labor laws, you can pay people less than what they’re worth, but you can’t earn that”

That’s through a lens of absolute efficiency. There is a spectrum. I am a small partner in a privately held business with over 400 employees. We’re not stupid. We understand and have fully diligenced all degrees of automation. Despite the prospect of putting millions more in their pocket each year, the controlling interests (founders) have resisted because they want to employ people. One of the last of a dying breed.

When you hear soft echos in the distance, like a subtle chime dancing across the breeze, and immediately you think back to her voice greeting you in the morning as she walks through the door. An incomparable agent of equilibrium. My love for Her does not fade.

Unless you’re looking for a multi-bagger, as they say, at this point it’s hard for me not to take profits and move into GLD or even BRK (which is a hedge in my view given its dry powder). For me. rotation into BTC in September is in play, but otherwise don’t see any of those stocks beating GLD in next 6 months. But wtf do I know? If I see Pelosi take a big position in an African manufacturer of VHS recorders, I’d blindly follow suit and YOLO my stack.

You wouldn’t believe the things I’ve heard from lawyers who applied to Trump’s DoJ ready and willing to mop up an ocean of injustice and corruption who were then sidelined, demoted or asked to resign when they tried to help a J6er or victim of political persecution from the FBI.
Lauren Witzke@LaurenWitzkeDE

Sound of Freedom exposed horrors of child trafficking. Andrew McCubbins is the hero who led real missions to save those babies and children. The DOJ right now is hunting him. @EagleEdMartin this is an injustice against a true patriot. We must protect our warriors fighting on the front lines to save children.

You know what’s relatively both risk- and retard-proof? Inside information. When your esteemed Senators start liquidating and stop buying, you should do the same — and the converse is true. I’m no Jane Street quant, but I’ve made an obscene amount of money following their trading patterns.

Growth strategy will be within the frame of interstate commerce and up-listing. There are some relatively unknown operators out west with major revenue, brands, and production capacity. No way TCNNF and GTI would merge. They will be bidding against each other on companies like Phat Panda and Artist Tree to build out their hub networks and add rev before up-listing.

@srg444 @V_arrell @UScannainvest @OblivionWizz GTI and TCNNF merger would put an end to all competition in cannabis. They would dominate. However, To @V_arrell point ego's seem to big. Much more likely a buddy-buddy Charlie and Kim combine.

@SD36036 The best part about this fact is for decades college football coaches negatively recruited against Miami by convincing parents that UM was in the hood and very dangerous. 😂

@RikkyRichardso1 @BuckSexton Remind me when this wasn’t the case, generally speaking? And this particular commercial highlights policy as well as any other I’ve seen. In fact, this is the most authentic political ad I may have ever seen.

@BuckSexton This is horrifying to be honest. People are already retarded and once we Netflix-ify politics, people will vote for the best "commercial" instead of policies.

I love Trump, despite his many faults. And I really love Tucker, mainly because he doesn’t give a fuck what you or your ilk think or say. He’s totally liberated and says what he wants. The fact I don’t agree with everything he says doesn’t change a thing. You are way out of touch. His following is only growing.

October 2007, stocks closed at last all time high before Great Recession. Home Depot stock that day closed 24% below its highs. Last week stocks closed at all time highs and Home Depot today closed 25% below its highs. Probably nothing.

I think heavy use of nicotine pouches is going to end up being worse for brain health than even pack-a-day smoking, via acetylcholine receptor downregulation, and chronic vasoconstriction leading to endothelial dysfunction > reduction in white and gray matter.
