I remember when a Gold Star family in your district needed help regarding an immigration issue and a dying man - I called your office as did many others and you were NOWHERE to be found. The man died without reuniting with his family - after his son made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Maybe you were in NJ focusing on criminals then too 🤷🏻‍♀️

Today, I visited the Delaney Hall Detention Facility for congressional oversight. Detainees have been on strike since last Friday, demanding humane conditions after reports of spoiled foods, freezing temperatures, and inadequate medical care. Every person deserves dignity, safety, and basic human rights.
