City’s maximum temperature finally dips below the 36°C mark! Bengaluru recorded 35.4°C this afternoon — the lowest maximum temperature in the last 16 days. Clouds started building up from midday and effectively capped the heat, giving the city some much-needed relief. Its expected to drop further tomorrow. The Bengaluru climate that we know and cherish would slowly start reclaiming its aura :) Short trailer was released today. Good possibility for showers tomorrow! Note: Last night min temp was at 25.0°C. Max + Min for yesterday, 36.3 + 25.0 = 61.3°C is the highest for the year. So at the right time TS season started for us! #Bengaluru #SUMMER2026

@htTweets, "Bangalore has seen heat like never before", this is the headlines. Pure misinformation. Can you please state why you consider it to be the worst Summer in Bengaluru? Can you justify your headlines? What metrics have been used? Is it on the basis of: -Number of days reaching the normal Summer max in 34c range -All time high max in 39-40c range -Extraordinary max anomalies in the +2 to +4 range I can understand a private handle mentioning it. But a media publication need to analyze further. Well known media publication cannot be on the basis of subjective experience. Need objective metrics to justify the same. #Bengaluru hindustantimes.com/trending/banga…

IMPORTANT WIND PATTERN CHANGE IN NEXT 36-48 HOURS ============================================= The long-standing easterly flow that has dominated the past three weeks is set to weaken significantly. This well-established pattern across the Southern Peninsula, southern Bay of Bengal (BoB), and the Indian Ocean (IO) region is likely to break down over the next 36–48 hours. The shift appears to be arriving about a week earlier than usual. The 850 hPa wind charts for today (26 April) and 28 April clearly show the seasonal easterlies being interrupted by strengthening southerly winds and the emergence of westerly flow across the southern Bay of Bengal, adjoining Indian Ocean, and western IO. Typical progression: -Weakened easterlies are normally observed across the Bay of Bengal in early to mid-May. -By mid-May, westerlies usually begin flowing into the Andaman Sea, crossing southern Sri Lanka. -The Southwest Monsoon (SWM) then sets in over Kerala by late May or early June. This year, the transition is advancing earlier. Several models are indicating a potentially early SWM onset over Kerala, possibly between 23–25 May, similar to last year. Key implications for Parts of South India: For South Interior Karnataka (SIK), North Interior Tamil Nadu (NITN), Coastal Tamil Nadu (CTN), and South Interior Andhra Pradesh (SIAP), the next 4 weeks represent a critical transition phase. Roughly 18–22% of the annual rainfall occurs during this period. The combination of weakened easterlies and unstable winds often leads to enhanced inland convergence, resulting in widespread pre-monsoon thunderstorm (TS) activity and seasonal rains. Lets see how it works out! #KarnatakaRains #SWM2026 #SUMMER2026

@saybwala Must also be something to do with new brand discovery because of the higher internet penetration in Mumbai and Bangalore. We have also found a similar trend while I was scaling up my previous startups. The internet penetration at the grassroots level really helps.

Mumbai & Bangalore always been heavy hitters for us. It's a lookalike thing, both founders are from these cities - so core following + engagement of our brand pages are from these cities. So Meta when it builds lookalike models, its heavily biased towards these two cities. Mumbai does more AOV than Bangalore - more money in the city.
