Unfortunately, what is shown in the image is not a passing scene, but a reality I have witnessed in every school I visited. After tables, chairs, and desks were banned, children were left with no choice but to sit directly on the sand.
A small child, barely four years old, bends over a simple stone to write, his back painfully curved, as if his childhood is being quietly taken away.
Inside the tents, the heat is suffocating, reaching 40°C. I saw sweat covering their faces and small bodies, pouring endlessly as they try to follow what is supposed to be a lesson. Nothing resembles a proper learning environment just a hot tent and exhausted bodies trying to endure.
Despite all this harshness, they cling to their dreams in a way that breaks the heart. When you ask any child about what they are going through, they answer with a calmness far beyond their age: “There is no path to success without struggle.” Simple words… yet filled with indescribable pain.
