@QuantumAlteredX Ok help me out here... When you say "that's strike one", the clip shows two swings and misses of two different pitches. Then you go to strike two, then strike 3. But what's the deal with the 2 different swings/pitches for strike one? Cause I actually see 4 swings and misses lol
English

@tangotiger I acknowledge fans enjoy it but that doesn’t really change my opinion. Fans also enjoyed the unofficial rule changes that lead the NBA to be the unwatchable mess it is today
English

The second dude (the one on the bottom) just has a terrible take here
It's one thing to have that particular opinion BEFORE watching Challenge ABS. But to maintain it AFTERWARDS?
You are basically saying: ignore the actual evidence of actual fun
The Ringer@ringer
Is ABS a home run for MLB? 🤔
English

@kizzlebtc @RainiersLand Casual. Probably watched 5 games at the beginning of the season last year and that’s it

@uihawkgrad @Top100Rick It looked like she was just having a hard time pulling the trigger to me. Refuse to believe this is the norm
English

@Top100Rick Do we know if this is her normal routine or was rhis a particularly difficult shot that got in her head a bit? If it is her normal routine, she has some golf demons flying by around in her head keeping her from pulling the trigger. She should be penalized.
English

Not singling this girl out. It’s an epidemic with young golfers.
This is not a video loop. This is one shot!
But 1 minutes 15 seconds to pull the trigger shouldn’t be allowed. This doesn’t include the time for setup and planning.
At the youth level maybe we actually need a strict shot clock. Have to start early. Once a player is used to this, it’s crazy pressure to change it.
themechanic@mensgrill69
“This is part of her routine” I would have already been on the green waiting before she pulled the trigger.

@tangotiger If you required 25% of the ball to be in zone for a strike, I *think* grey is what a new 24 inch tall k-zone would look like compared to current in blue. Where a ball is only a strike if any part of it passes through the grey. Idk what this means but fun math problem

English

@DodgersDeadly @c0eseph @Quickstats_Mets @tangotiger That essentially just shrinks the zone from a rectangle to this weird oval thing. If you think umps are bad now…
English

@c0eseph @Quickstats_Mets @tangotiger @forgottenclips I wouldn’t. I’m not arguing for a 50% standard. I’m arguing for 25% to eliminate the margin of error that’s inherent to the technology.
English

@DodgersDeadly @tangotiger I was only taking issue with using a border. Here is what I got for 50.07% +/- up to .039%

English

@tangotiger @forgottenclips That looks like a lot more than 50% of the ball is in the zone, which completely negates your position.
English

@darth_wager @faststocknewss They can track purchases, page visits, etc from views on the ad. That’s his point. Social media companies don’t need to be directly selling data either. You run ad campaign targeting specific demographic and now know demo of each eyeball
English

@faststocknewss This is not sustainable. Eyeballs do not equal purchase unless we are just selling folks data which influencers care so much about with traffic.
Skynet here we come.

Kevin O’Leary says the highest-paying job right now isn’t engineering.
It’s social media customer acquisition.
“I used to pay those guys $48K a year. Now they’re $250K.”
The best ones become contractors making $500K+ because every week you can measure exactly how many customers they bring in.
People in their early 20s who know how to turn content into a 5-second ad on TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram, and X are the most valuable hires in business right now.
English

@forgottenclips @Doctor_Dray_ @HawkandTrident @TalkinBaseball_ No. Cal has power. Hes not a great hitter. Judge is a great hitter.
English

@Doctor_Dray_ @WyaAeads @HawkandTrident @TalkinBaseball_ They are both great hitters and their 2026 stats mean nothing is the point
English

@WyaAeads @HawkandTrident @TalkinBaseball_ Well Judge started 2 for 13 with 7 Ks. So the connection is they both started poorly and stats over 3 games are meaningless
English

@forgottenclips @HawkandTrident @TalkinBaseball_ Whats judge have anything to do with cal starting the year 1/14 with 9 ks lmao
English

@WyaAeads @HawkandTrident @TalkinBaseball_ He’s batting .176 actually. Bc there have been 5 games. And that happens. What is judge batting?
English

@gfienberg17 @JH4DoughMedia Change the clubs. Will be lame to have pros play a different ball
English

@JH4DoughMedia Wholeheartedly disagree. Its not difficult to admire it when it happens while simultaneously acknowledging the entire operation for a modern pro from clubface to ball is a farce.
English

Complaining about the ball being hit to far yet openly applauding it 😂
For reference I’m against any roll back I think you can do other things but you can’t criticise it on one hand then applaud it on the other
