Rivet is our love letter to the design community. It’s a visual editor that helps designers translate precise UI changes into production code. We're launching tomorrow morning. I'm too excited to not share a teaser of what you'll see then.

alright I dug into this and I think the issue is likely related to how the storage bucket we use for Rivet releases was getting rate limited (in other words, we hit more traffic than we usually do). I just changed our bucket to a higher tier but this will take up to 24 hours to take effect. I'll DM once it's worth taking another look. Until then you you can also use Rivet in Claude or Cursor if you'd like to try the one-click MCP connection from the website. Happy to help set up if you have into any questions

Just went live with a new, more considered interface for Rivet. Rivet gets out of the way when you aren't using it, but keeps the right tool a click away. Here's a demo of how it works on the landing page.

haha ok I hear you but this all started after a designer told me how much she hated digging for the right documentation, running multiple commands and debugging her setup. so I wrapped it all in one button that you can just click and paste back into claude / your agent. It downloads Rivet, then sets up the MCP and skill for you. I hope it's much easier to use!

They launched tools for frontend element selection I think. Have you tried it yet? I try to just assume every model company will ship simple, capable tools for working with frontend. But I'd like to focus on helping people design more than implement. And the way to do that (take in your design context, explore ideas with you, great visual editing tools etc) looks pretty different. I'll have a lot more to share on this soon! :)

ok I'm looking to update my list of early career product designers who are open to full-time roles a bunch of founder friends who just raised strong seed rounds are now hiring their founding designer and asked me who to bring in. If you’re an early designer with strong taste and a strong desire to grow your craft, just DM or reply with your portfolio. I'll intro you to any relevant companies now or later on!
