@CarlBovisNature We have had a pair of swifts nesting in our eaves every year for ages. I wait breathlessly until they arrive and celebrate when they do. 🤞🤞🤞🤞
If you see this photo of a Swift, please leave a comment! 🙏
Did you see any Swifts last summer? 😊
Do you know the difference between a Swift and a Swallow? 🤔🐦
@adamjkucharski@skytv Happened to my Mother in Law with Virgin Media - her bill went to £140+ and included Sky Sports! She never watches sport! Quick phone call and saved her money on her renewal! Crooks at best!
Very angry with @skytv for upselling a new TV package to a customer they’d been notified had dementia - and doing this *one month* after I cancelled on the customer’s behalf because they weren’t aware they’d signed up in the first place.
When challenged, Sky’s customer service response was that the customer technically ‘agreed’ to the upsell.
For me, this raises serious concerns about how vulnerable customers are being treated and whether @Ofcom guidelines for this group are actually being followed.
@CarlBovisNature Hallo Carl, Sorry to hear that. Did you know you can call 111 to get an emergency prescription within the same day? I’ve just done it. It happened once before. Good luck and all the best. Jeni
It's actually scary how much I need my antidepressants..
I stupidly ran out last week, and despite reordering straight away when I realised, I don't get my prescription til tomorrow. I've gone almost a week without them, and I've been taking them every day for many years. It shocks me how just a few days without them completely destroys my mood.
I just randomly started crying a few minutes ago... I never cry.
The stress of everything building up to Christmas, my day job, my little business, trying to get all orders to people in time, relying on the postal service... I just feel so low at the moment. Maybe the tears come from relief that the last postal date for Christmas has elapsed, and all my orders are on their way.
I'm also very very tired. I take on too much this time of the year.
I'm not ashamed that I rely on antidepressants, I'm just a bit sad that I need them to function, that I'm unable to just 'man up'..
Anyone else rely this much on antidepressants? Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one..
@Jenny_1884 I think it’s the combination of age plus brighter car lights. The car industry and government are apparently looking at the problem of over-bright lights but don’t hold your breath.
Exactly. Digitisation that requires downloading yet another app, registering with it, going into email. Then spam folder, to find it hasn’t sent the verification email, so resend to get the code, then pop the verification code into the app to confirm who you are… then repeat most of that process because on the very rare occasion that you need to use the app, the autofill password does not work, you forgot the password and need to reset it.
That is NOT FUCKING CONVENIENT!
Digitalisation is “for your convenience.” - try explaining that to the 3 million people who are not online in the UK. The majority (67%) are aged 70 or over. The digitalisation of everything is creating digital exclusion for millions of people - in particular, our elderly.
Left: Conservative MP Joe Robertson repeats the lie that we got the vaccine first because we left the EU
Right: Dr June Raine says UK vaccine program ran while the UK was still legally within the EU and under EU law
Why are so many Conservative MPs liars?
Gambling companies should be treated like smoking companies - taxed into oblivion & banned from advertising & sponsorship.
They are a totally parasitic curse on society, responsible for misery, poverty, suicide & domestic abuse.
We don't need them.

@BranMargarete Here's the Elephant in the room everyone seems to be ignoring...
The letting agent was emailing *her husband* - not her.
*He* was dealing with this, while she was busy running the country.
It isn't anything to do with *her*.
She *dnd't know*.
@iamnotapixel It's been tough on those who knew, because it progressed so fast, extremely aggressive form they'd never seen before.
Just very lucky the consultant guessed correct chemo profile (he had me on chemo within 5 days of 1st seeing me, he had to act before biopsy or CT or I'd be dead)
On a personal note, I was told by my consultant today I'm now clear of the Stage 4 Lymphoma I developed 4 years ago, having been given the chemotherapy treatment set I needed within a week of being sent to him.
At every stage I've had brilliant treatment from the NHS.
👏👏👏👏
This dessert comes straight from my hometown, Limoges 🇫🇷 it’s called Clafoutis, made with sweet cherries 🍒. Funny enough, my name Sirieix actually comes from the local word Sirie, meaning cherry! So I guess this one’s truly in my blood. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do ❤️
@ArchRose90 Badenoch’s claim is highly misleading - and so is yours.
Eligibility for a Motability car depends on receiving the enhanced mobility rate of PIP, awarded only for serious, medically assessed mobility difficulties following a formal assessment - not ADHD alone.
An important point from Kemi’s speech which hasn’t been highlighted enough is that Motability cars “are not for people with ADHD".
It’s a joke and a scam which needs to end.
@JamesMelville Can you please look into airport full body scanners - that everyone is now made to go through - and at many orher places too.
Kids, pregnant women etc… no one is exempt.
Many scientists are very concerned. It’s more radiation and very focused on our body. And cancer keeps ⬆️
I feel so sorry for any elderly person who struggles with online admin / isn’t online and doesn’t have a support network to help with online admin. Almost everything is online or automated now. And for those who aren’t online (in particular the elderly), they are marginalised.
