Looking for parents with kids in primary school to beta test my new reading app. Parents teaching early reading hit the same wall: after the initial phonics curriculum, it becomes hard to find material that is at the right difficulty and that systematically fixes weak spots. Existing books are either too easy, too hard, or fail to reinforce specific problem sounds. I built Brave Reading to solve that. It’s an adaptive reading system for early readers. Parents do one thing: listen and tap mispronounced words. The system updates a mastery model of every phonics component and generates the next day’s passage to target exactly the child’s current weaknesses, while introducing new skills at a controlled pace. Difficulty stays just above the child’s level to drive rapid progress without frustration. The engine is a phonics knowledge graph aligned to Common Core grade expectations. Each correct or incorrect pronunciation adjusts mastery of the underlying sounds. Story passages are generated to reinforce weak skills and test the next ones. The result is accelerated progress from beginner to roughly fifth-grade reading level with minimal parent effort. The first five passages are free. Unlimited access is a one-time $49. If you teach a young reader and want something that adapts precisely to their needs, try it and tell me where it breaks. bravereading.com

Can confirm. Years of living in one of the wealthier neighborhoods in Germany, I've never met a single German who earned the money to buy a house here. Also lived in France and Italy and saw the same.

In most countries billionaires are self-made. They invent new products or services that drive progress. In Germany, Spain, Italy, and France, most billionaires inherited their wealth. Europe has simply lost the entrepreneurial spirit that once drove innovation and prosperity.

OpenClaw just saved me $500 by unburying the $129 TurboTax plan I actually needed. Intuit was trying to sell me a $639 package via a recommendation quiz that said there's no other option for my situation. There was!

Merz called Germany's nuclear phase-out 'a serious strategic mistake.' Two months later: 'irreversible.' Meanwhile Germany is burning coal and the rest of the world is building reactors. Bring back nuclear everywhere. gli.st/nzb54xgl

@kadavy None of us do. The early 2010s were really special in tech.

I started my first job in a decade. Last fall, @CameronSorsby reached out to ask if I could do a workshop at @AlphaSchoolATX on vibe coding. I had a blast, and was blown away by how sharp and entrepreneurial the students were. Cameron and I kept talking, discussing his plans to expand Alpha’s entrepreneurial and AI education, and the more we talked the more I realized I had to be a part of it. This week I officially joined as the “Head of Founder Development.” I’m working on expanding the high school’s AI and entrepreneurship curriculum, along with a much bigger project for the Fall I’ll be able to share soon. With young kids of my own and my deep frustration with the education system, @jliemandt and Alpha’s mission is one I’m extremely passionate about and thrilled to be a part of. If anyone is going to fix education, it’s us. Can’t wait to share more on what we’re building.

anyone been able to get 🦞 to successfully and consistently receive webhooks? i've tried running them through both cloudflare tunnels and tailscale funnels and both will work during setup but then hours later stop working and take tons of back/forth to get temp working again.

I used OpenClaw to update 40 rows in a Notion database. It was magical. But none of the updates were correct and it couldn't figure out how to revert to the previous state.

2. It crashes. A LOT. People on Twitter make it sound like "set it and forget it" but I've spent 50% of my time just keeping OpenClaw online. Browser timeouts, session corruptions, gateway restarts. The AI is amazing when it works, but babysitting is real. And amount of time to setup sub-agents, LLM optimization, token timeouts, there’s been problems non-stop in running it.

72 hours with OpenClaw - 100% overhyped and 100% amazing! Last week I joined AppSumo’s OpenClaw workshop, set it up live and then got obsessed ever since… So much so I had it run my X account for the past few days. The hype is real but people are also completely full of it. This moment feels like when I first found AOL chatrooms and could get mp3’s or jpegs. It’s super early, buggy, risky, etc but it’s one of the first AI tools that I can see where the future can really go. Here’s my overall review of the product:

The only thing I've gotten out of OpenClaw vs Claude Code is unreliable cron jobs.
