@keithdunn I doubt anyone will start loop 5. After last year, Barkley will win this time.
English

@CitiusMag @nikepreclassic @joshk97 Seems like a long game play by Jakob. Honestly, I’m not sure he went all out on the final 400. Maybe wanting to give Josh a false sense of confidence and eyeing the Olympics to peak at knowing he wasn’t in best form?any chance he sandbagged a bit?
English

A RACE FOR THE AGES 😳😳😳
The @nikepreclassic Bowerman Mile delivers on the hype, with 9 men breaking 3:50 and reigning World champ @joshk97 taking down reigning Olympic champ Jakob Ingebrigtsen 3:45.34 to 3:45.60.
No amount of trash talk can trump results, and Kerr has not lost to Ingebrigtsen since June of last year.

@carnivoremouse @AbudBakri All diets succeed actually, if it fails then it wasn’t a diet that put them into a caloric deficit, period.
English

@AbudBakri A 15 % weight loss is not significant. And as soon as they stop those shots their weight returns. Also, all "diets" fail. Until we address the ultra processed and hyper palatable food problems nothing will change. Eating real food is the only solution.
English

For the anti Ozempic crowd:
A person has been dieting for 10+ years and hasn’t been successful. Tried many diets, goes to gym, etc
We all know that person. The “always dieting”
They haven’t succeeded
Do you want them to continue to try (and fail) for another 10 years, end up 280 lbs with diabetes and fatty liver
OR
use medications to assist?

English

@AbudBakri @richardhoangbui How’s is possible to fail at the laws of thermodynamics? “Tried many diets” but couldn’t put the fork down or care to do simple math and calculate calories and macros? So this is the easy magic pill? Perfect for most lazy folk!

I truly wanna transform the health / fitness space
It seems like now there’s a huge disconnect. No nuance, no middle ground.
Either holistic health hypochondriac, or calories in calories out macro tracking
either strict powerlifting / bodybuilding, or super unorthodox “functional” fitness / movement
Either total big pharma shill or totally disregarding all forms of medicine
It doesn’t have to be like that.
You can take little pieces of everything and carve out what you want.
It should all be additive. Furthering your ability, adding to your life’s enjoyment, not this gigantic chore.
The same way Nick Bare’s created all the “hybrid athletes” I want to create more shape-shifting athletes.
The guy who can go from slinging weight around in the weight room, to having crazy mobility at an outdoor yoga session, to doing calisthenics, to playing a good round of golf, to ripping a grueling MMA practice, to playing pick up hoops, to cooking an enjoyable but nutritious meal, to surfing.
Being able to enjoy LIFE. which is what your health and fitness pursuits should be.
There’s no reason why everyone can’t have it all. They just need the right information and equally to apply the right work ethic

@keithdunn @JasminKParis Wow unscripted fairytale ending, you couldn’t make it up better than this. Can’t wait to see a video of her finish!
English

Jasmin Paris @JasminKParis finished loop five of the #BM100 in 59:58:21.
English

@keithdunn 2 hours left and no finishers yet? Where are they? This is nail biting
English

Jasmin Paris @JasminKParis has started loop five in the clockwise direction, while Jared Campbell @derajslc is going counter-clockwise. #BM100
English

@keithdunn How tfffff did he find it? Can’t wait for that full story
English

@keithdunn Maybe their crew told them to do that and that they would take care of it for them? Seeing as that’s their entire purpose and all…?
English

@ThePapaLinks A grown man that weighs 97 pounds and is 5’6”?! That’s just absurd.

Very fascinating, we (North Americans) need to observe what others are doing to run the marathon this well.

@SageCanaday A lot of people are doing it and smarter than the ones who get caught. There’s so many new PEDs like SARMs and peptides. It’s too hard to test and stay on top of for WADA. Lifetime ban is ridiculous, sorry.
English

I was trying to look up my name to see if I was qualified for next year's #UTMB....but look who's name I found on the list:
This guy was caught red-handed on EPO (on a race day test no less!) and placed top 10 in that UTMB race in the past. But he's back racing! No repercussions?! 🤷🏻♂️
I believe taking very strong and illegal performance-enhancing drugs like EPO should warrant a lifetime ban from competitive endurance races. What do you think?!

@taggartvanetten I’m all about “you get what you pay for” and buying quality kit but this is ridiculous lol. I bought half tights from them that completely fell apart after 5 uses. The tag said something to the effect of “wear sparingly”. Such a joke!
English

@SageCanaday @HypeoxiaMedia His point about testosterone is that some are hypogonadal and “need” TRT as it will be prescribed by a MD if below the ref range and person experiencing symptoms. But at doses that bring ppl into ref range (not supraphysiological), that should be “ok”
English

@HypeoxiaMedia Albuterol is not banned at normal levels. Testosterone definitely is and a huge possible PED…same with HGH etc

The FKT (fastest known time) record and performances is an interesting realm: Like there is totally no drug testing or accountability for performance enhancing substances! I mean there is hardly any decent testing protocols and penalties in mountain-ultra-trail running races/events anyway…but FKTs are like the total wild west! People setting speed records can be totally doped to the gills! 😡
