I’ve been in marketing / web development since 2005. I’ve neglected social media because I didn’t need it for my company to be successful, but I started creating content for my personal brand 2 weeks ago. Let’s see if this old dog can learn new tricks. I’m posting these current stats so I can have something to compare in 6 and 12 months. I’m curious what actively producing content can accomplish. Let’s see how it goes. People like to give @Stripe a hard time for being a "simple payment processor" and the amount of money they make, but those people must not have been around back in the day when you had to deal with 2checkout or authorize.net before few really even knew how APIs worked and the giant pain in the ass it was to create payment integrations into e-commerce. It looks easy now but back when Stripe started they were revolutionary simple

@anothercohen My first reaction as well. The idea that AI is just going to automate a highly regulated / complex industry like health tech business. Also I can guarantee 100% he is not automating all of his customer service with AI. Maybe he's not counting his BPO staff as employees

I’ve been around digital health long enough that I can guarantee you this story is completely full of shit. There is zero chance a two person startup is selling $2b worth of compounded GLP1s. And given the state of peptides, if this were true, the last thing you’d do is brag about it

Holy ship. 🚢 Genuinely never thought Ahrefs would do this. API access is now available on all plans. No extra fees. 🥳 It's something I always wanted as a customer, and I had no involvement in this going live, so my surprise is genuine. Limits apply depending on your account, but I'm super happy more people can now play with this.

Google has a FREE tool that shows you EXACTLY how it reads your content, it was around before ChatGPT and most SEOs have never even opened it.. Go to: cloud.google.com/natural-langua… and scroll to the "Try the API" box, then paste in your page content and click "Analyze" Google will show you: - Every ENTITY it detected (people, places, brands, concepts) - The SALIENCE score for each (how important Google thinks that entity is to your page) - The CATEGORY it assigned your content to Now do the same thing with the #1 ranking page for your keyword... Compare the two. You'll see: - Entities they mention that you don't (add them) - Their top entity has 0.85 salience, yours has 0.3, you need to mention your primary topic more prominently and earlier in the content - How Google categorizes the pages (e.g. My piece is categorized as SEO, HowTo/Expert Content, Marketing and Web Design/Dev, I want it to be the same categorization as the other ranking pages. You can also just save both of the outputs (Save the page or print as a PDF) and ask AI to compare the two for you with recommendations! This is literally Google telling you what it thinks your page is about vs what it thinks the page that's outranking you is about. The gap between those two outputs IS your content optimization checklist. You don't need ANY expensive subscriptions, it literally takes a few minutes per page, and it's the closest thing to seeing your content through the eyes of the algo that exists because it IS Google's own NLP model.

Dumb ass. There's 350 thousand illegal children who crossed our borders, given to unvetted people who the Biden administration couldn't locate? Tom Homan & FBI found 20k of them in homes of sex traffickers & known Pediphiles. 140k have been found in the last year. What do you live in a cellar. Yet the media is reporting on this not the kids. Go ahead fact check me. This will be fun.

New from FBI: The gloves found approximately 2 miles from the Guthrie residence in a field near the side of the road were packaged up by PCOS and sent overnight on 2/12 and they arrived at their private lab in Florida on 2/13. The FBI received preliminary results yesterday on 2/14 and are awaiting quality control and official confirmation today before putting unknown male profile into CoDIS, the national database unique to the bureau. This process typically takes 24 hours from when the bureau receives DNA. Investigators collected approximately 16 gloves in various areas near the house. Most of them were searchers’s gloves that they discarded in various areas when they searched the vicinity. The one with the DNA profile recovered is different and appears to match the gloves of the subject in the surveillance video. The FBI has and will continue to provide assistance on whatever timeline is provided to us.

@sama This seems a lot less bad than taking donations for a non-profit, then converting to a for-profit after developing a bunch of valuable tech. For example.

AI just made me question every dollar and hour I’ve ever spent on web design. I rebuilt our entire Brushworks website yesterday in about 8 hours. Cost me $50. And somehow… it turned out amazing. Like, I genuinely don’t understand how this is possible. This was my first time using Lovable. You basically just describe what you want and it builds the site. I kept waiting to hit a wall where it got janky or unusable, never happened. I’m not trying to sell anything here. I’m just blown away. If you’re still paying $8k–$15k for a website in 2025, I think that era is over. AI isn’t coming for web designers… it already came. Check it out: brushworksco.com And yeah, I hate affiliate links as much as anyone, but here’s mine… you get 10 free credits and I get 10 more so I can keep feeding this new addiction 😂 lovable.dev/invite/9O0GCSO Also, I’m fully aware I’m about to get lit up by web designers for this post, but whatever… people said the same thing about Wordpress when it came out.

Someone should create a billing platform that holds subscription/payment info and routes charges to interchangeable processors (Stripe, etc.). Swap processors if one blocks you because of one too many chargebacks…. users stay subscribed with zero interruption while it gets sorted out.

So we recently signed our largest client ever, @OpenPhone to handle their rebrand. I’m so thrilled with the work our team at OneNine did on this logo. Simple. Modern. Makes complete sense, just like their new name. Huge shoutout to our rockstar creative team!
