@geekwire Great write up. It’s a unique strategy and technical needle to thread . I think ultimately it’ll prove to be a winner.

@matvelloso I interviewed the Group Pm for OneNote/Copilot Notebook a week or so ago actually, the direction for OneNote and Copilot Notebook is pretty compelling. Check it out here - youtu.be/F9pTd5j2KNQ?si… @ezp4rk

Gemini and Copilot are both running. But Gemini is running straight ahead, while Copilot is running in circles, rewriting frameworks. Soon, all assistants will have an attached notebook into them. Meanwhile, it would be orders of magnitude faster for Microsoft to take Karpathy's knowledge base demo, fork marktext, make it into an immensely powerful notebook editor with native markdown, than trying to salvage OneNote. But they would never dare to do such a thing, because God forbid somebody dares to disrupt the status quo. So Google Labs will keep shipping cool stuff and turning into products, and Microsoft will keep launching Claude 365 Enterprise or whatever that's called.
Sundar Pichai@sundarpichai

Nothing quite like the blank pages of a fresh notebook! Notebooks are now rolling out in the @Geminiapp. Organize conversations, notes, and other sources related to a single project (and easily go back and forth between @NotebookLM to go deeper). Rolling out today, starting with Google AI Ultra, Pro + Plus subscribers on the web.

TJ Devine from Microsoft 365 didn’t mince words. Most companies are wrongly ambitious about AI—waiting for transformation or trapped in long‑range planning. Model Council runs Claude + GPT side‑by‑side. youtu.be/nVuduzu0n90?si… #Microsoft365 #Copilot

@aakashgupta This is misleading. Claude's M365 connector isn't free (requires paid), and it's read-only—it can't draft emails, create docs, or take actions. Copilot actually works inside your apps to get things done. You're comparing a search to an execution engine and calling them the same.

Anthropic just plugged Claude into Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams on every plan. Including Free. Microsoft charges $30/user/month for Copilot to do the same thing inside the same apps. Read that again. Anthropic is offering access to your M365 data through Claude for $0. Microsoft is charging $30/seat/month for Copilot to access the same emails, the same docs, the same Teams threads. And Microsoft built the connector. They approved it in their own marketplace. The M365 connector was enterprise-only since October. Gated behind Claude Team and Enterprise plans. Anthropic opened it to every plan today because the math changed: 400 million M365 paid seats where the incumbent AI costs $30/user/month, and now there's a free alternative that reads the same data. Copilot adoption has been slow. Microsoft reported 2 million paid Copilot seats by early 2025, less than 1% of eligible accounts. The pitch was hard: $30/month per user on top of existing M365 licensing, for an AI that hallucinates your own calendar. Anthropic looked at that 99% of unseated M365 accounts and built a front door. The company charging $0 to read your work email will convert more users than the company charging $30 to summarize it. Anthropic is selling Claude through Microsoft's own plumbing, and Microsoft approved the listing.

Microsoft 365 connectors are now available on every Claude plan. Connect Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint to bring your email, docs, and files into the conversation. Get started here: claude.ai/customize/conn…

@AlaskaAir - the value of the lounge drops dramatically when you’re in line 20+ minutes to use the lounge (today N gate). Garbage sauce.

@VerizonSupport / @Verizon Inexplicably my phone went to SOS mode a few days ago, since then I have had the absolutely most horrendous experience with your tech support. Still unresolved. Tech support people feign competency consistently. Case tracking number V-915231047-W01

Nothing would do more to improve the health, lifespan and quality of life for Americans than making GLP inhibitors super low cost to the public. Nothing else is even close.

Luigi Mangione's manifesto includes a superficially damning claim. However, it's wrong. Want to understand why the US spends so much on healthcare to get such poor results? Read this thread to see the greatest (and most unknown) analysis of US healthcare ever done.

Can you endurance train and still build muscle? 🔍 This meta-analysis published in 2022 compiled data from 43 studies (over 1000 participants) to establish the effects of endurance training on resistance-training induced strength & muscle mass 📊 Results: 🗣️“Concurrent endurance and resistance-training DOES NOT interfere with adaptations in maximal strength or muscle hypertrophy” This positive results was found regardless of: Type of aerobic training ✅ Frequency of training ✅ Training status ✅ Age ✅ Training modality ✅ However, concurrent training may reduce gains in explosive strength, especially when aerobic and resistance-training are performed in the same session ⚠️ Best bet? Separate your strength and endurance sessions for optimal adaptations💰

@NiohBerg I agree he should have lived. Hamas should not have taken him as a hostage, and Hamas shouldn’t have executed him. Don’t negotiate with terrorists. In the end, it always emboldens them to repeat their behavior.

Hersh Goldberg-Polin was an American citizen. He was abandoned by his government as he had his arms blown off, taken hostage for nearly a year, and murdered right after his desperate parents appealed to the DNC. He should have lived.

If there were a hateful protest against a Black Church or a Latino Church, we would not attempt to “explain” it. We would condemn it. If there were a hateful protest against a mosque, we would not attempt to “explain" it. We would condemn it. Why do we, as a society, feel the need to “explain” a hateful protest against a synagogue in Los Angeles? The attempt to justify unjustifiable attacks against Jews is its own form of antisemitism.
