@WPC_ikeda @taku0726_tr Yes, DRI is more sensitive to contact time b/c displacement under gravity scales with time squared. If time increases without more total displacement, performance drops. High scores require BOTH short contact and large displacement. Modeling isolates the math, not the biology.

RSI(Reactive Strength Index)はもう古い? DRI(Dynamic Rebound Index)という指標がRSIの上位互換になるかも↓ eu-opensci.org/index.php/spor… まだ当該論文をちゃんと読み込めてはないけど、DRIのほうが実際のバネ能力を適切に反映してるかもしれない🤔

Hi Jonas – You can easily check PubMed or Google scholar for both basic science & practical studies. Important for both science & practice to know: Does FVP model represent science of sprinting as FVP authors have claimed?

@Dr_Weyand @ALTIS @dr_jump_uk @pjvazel @lancebrooks_phd @coachgambetta @hiitscience @1080motion @sportsxacademy My main question is, now that so much work has been done in horizontal force profiling, has anyone looked into the findings, or is it all poo pooed because the original methods are seen as flawed? @dr_jump_uk @lahti_johan

Not new, but another push of our recent podcast, in which @Dr_Weyand explains a decade-long dispute about prosthetic limbs & sprint performance, and illustrates how science & advocacy collide, with integrity lost. Plus, learn what you & Bolt have in common podcasts.apple.com/za/podcast/the…
