Calling someone ‘not very bright’ and telling them to sit in the corner because they posted UD’s actual refund list is just angry deflection, not debate. Those TLDs on the list did get refund windows (Feb 16–March 2, 2026 for the recent batch, plus earlier phases). .blockchain and .polygon didn’t because UD has active partnerships pushing them for the ICANN 2026 round. High registrations on .blockchain or .polygon don’t make them immune to scrutiny or automatically superior. Plenty of hyped extensions had big early volume and still got pruned when partners bailed on ICANN plans. The point stands: UD offered exits for non-contenders and tagged the ones still in the game. That’s selective prioritization, not “no refunds at all.” Markets care about execution and liquidity potential post-April 2026 application window — not who has the loudest bag defense or who arrived first.

Did UD offer refunds for domains not applying to ICANN ? As far as I know it was for a few irrelevant ones with tiny number of mints. None of the major ones like .blockchain were refunded as far as I know.

So they changed few things on there website, and UD became the worst enemy, I know for a fact that they offered refunds for those domains that weren’t applying for ICANN. Now there is a specific tag that opens all those domains that r applying for ICANN only (16 dots). Making it easier for the domainers to get their hands rather than going through the entire list.

I’m still actively trading the current cycle—refunds offered, ICANN-tagged domains filtered for easier access, actual utility bridging to DNS coming. Meanwhile, the real pattern isn’t ‘they missed early entry.’ It’s sour grapes from folks who dismissed blockchain domains as gimmicks years ago, now watching UD get ICANN-accredited, push gTLD apps (.brave, .agi, .hub, etc.), and open real doors. If being ‘early’ means just holding bags and gatekeeping instead of adapting to the evolution (onchain + traditional DNS compatibility), then yeah—the stupidity does increase daily. @UDTradingClub @Sureshdomain Happens to me a lot. Got a $5,000 offer and when I asked support said the account was flagged for fraud and not to treat the offer as a legitimate one. Even if he accepted the offer, he won’t get anything lol

UD has not fixed their offer system. Anyone can place bids of any amount despite not having funds on their credit card. Fake bids will fail when you try to accept.

Now we need quick toggles to select/deselect web3/web2 domains like we used to have. Frustrating to have to click them individually. @ntropiq
