Some former staffers said they had ethical concerns about his office. He would have aides in his congressional office package gifts paid for by his campaign to send to supporters — a potential violation of rules forbidding official resources being used for political activity.

As an ascendant Democratic House member, he would push his staff to drive so dangerously that one former congressional aide said she racked up numerous tickets for speeding or running red lights and was once chewed out by Capitol Police after an especially reckless maneuver.

NEW: Vetting crisis hits HHS during Congressional hearing Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr @RobertKennedyJr walked into a buzzsaw on Thursday during his Congressional hearing because HHS ignored my repeated warnings over the last year about Fauci’s animal tests and listened to Trump-hating holdovers inside HHS and NIH. As I discussed on @LoomerUnleashed on Tuesday with White Coat Waste @WhiteCoatWaste, I contacted Secretary Kennedy this week BEFORE his hearing to tell him that the National Institutes of Health @NIH is still funding Fauci’s dog labs and that the NIH’s Trump-hating, Fauci-loving, Act Blue Democrat Nicole Kleinstreuer has been lying about ending these abusive animal tests. For the last year, since I first had White Coat Waste’s VP Justin Goodman @JustinRGoodman on my show on Tax Day 2025, we’ve been sounding the alarm on NIH holdovers undermining President Trump’s goal of cutting Fauci’s wasteful animal tests. Specifically, one year ago I exposed how White Coat Waste uncovered that under  Obama holdover and @PETA ally Kleinstreuer, the NIH renewed funding for Fauci-approved beagle labs that bought dogs from the abusive breeder Ridglan Farms and infested the puppies with ticks. RFK Jr. seems to believe the lies from Kleinstreuer and Jay Bhattacharya @DrJBhattacharya that they stopped beagle torture. I’ve warned RFK Jr. a number of times over the past year about this, even this week, about the many other dog labs HHS keeps funding, but we haven’t seen any action taken yet. On Thursday, during the House Appropriations hearing, Democrat Mark Pocan @RepMarkPocan pressed @SecKennedy on the issue and RFK said,  “I have a hard time believing that” and “We’ve ended most of it.” This isn’t true. HHS hasn’t ended most of the animal testing. Actually, HHS spent $126 million more on animal testing— and RFK knows this because I literally told him about it this week. Hate to say I told you so.

The first big story of my career was reporting on Chris Matthews repeatedly sexually harassing staff and nothing happened to him until years later when a woman wrote for GQ that he sexually harassed her so maybe the problem is that leftist media ignore victims when they don’t tell the “right” outlets what happened to them

There is almost nothing in this article explaining why Eastman should not have been disbarred and why we should think the California bar and California courts all got it wrong. I’m not surprised. The case against Eastman was very strong. Lawyers do not have unlimited license when advocating for a client, even if the client is President. We all have ethical obligations, including a duty of candor to the tribunal, an obligation not to lie in connection with the representation, along with many other ethical guardrails. Eastman disregarded his obligations, and the end result for him is not surprising. I expect the Supreme Court of the United States will not overturn the California Supreme Court’s decision.
