Oh I know you weren’t talking to me just wanted to chime in. I agree with you on pretty much everything you said here. I also think remigration is a necessity as being born here doesn’t make you not a foreigner in my book. Also in terms of of Protestantism being brown I was mainly talking about the US where Protestantism is far more White specifically Lutheranism as compared to Catholicism.

To chime in, there are and many (though not all) will likely be saved. However, temporally that doesn’t mean I want to live around them or share a society with them. I do not hate them, I love then and hope they are save, but I also must practice ordered love. My love for my kin persuades me to protect what has been built for us.

@PrimusPeccator @nolibertarians I wouldn’t say almost, it was proposed by a few congregations/districts via overtures, and the floor committees then declined to package them into resolutions that will be voted on at convention. I was excited at the prospect as well. I think the desire for this will only grow.

@Retrocaus Lol, no. The US and Canada were both founded by Protestants. So was Australia. Virtually every country that was founded by Catholics is extremely brown today (Latin America.)

It’s going to have massive changes as the practicing center of Orthodoxy shifts from Eastern Europe to Eastern Texas. @OrdinariateUSA @ProvidenceBelis Translations of the vulgate, not translations of the bible. There is a big difference. The vulgate had inaccuracies that propagated and justified Roman teaching. Martin Luther's was the FIRST widely available German bible that was translated from the Greek and Hebrew.

@matt_e_cochran I agree. Lot of work to do with youth retention. I think proper catechesis would help. A lot of people end up leaving Protestantism because they don’t understand WHY they’re Protestant.

Adult converts are wonderful blessings. But the ratio of 1 in 3 members being converts while the denomination has lost 50% of it's weekly attendance in the last 20 years is a terrible indictment of our inability to produce & retain youth.

@OrdinariateUSA America has never been orthodox. America has never been roman catholic. Yet Luther called himself an evangelical catholic. It is not larp to refuse the pejorative term that you have inscribed on our church.

@nolibertarians I’m not orthodox. I also don’t think America will be majority Catholic. I also think Lutherans larping as Catholics is equally as cringy.
