"If you call your enemy uneducated, strive to intensify in yourself the love of learning and industry; if you call him a coward, rouse even more your self-reliance and manliness; if you call him unchaste and licentious, obliterate from your soul whatever trace of devotion to pleasure may be lurking there unperceived. For there is nothing more disgraceful or painful than evil-speaking that recoils upon its author." — Plutarch, "De capienda ex inimicis utilitate"

@based_white_boy Exactly. It applies to literally every institution, whether religious, political, or academic. They then wonder why the culture and system is so against us.

The biggest problem with conservatives is their tendency to retreat and leave institutions rather than resist and reform them. Redeemed Zoomer is very correct about this. Liberals have a desire to impress their ideas upon the world that conservatives lack, and need to retrieve.

@prosandhans @AmerRef1517 We need to stop letting fear of what other institutions have done hinder us from organizing effectively. Autonomous bodies with a “common mission” only ever ends in separation, because loyalty is always split when things get hard, and separation is easier than fixing issues.

“For it pertains to the statesman to know how large a city should be and whether it should include men of one nation or of several. The size of the city should indeed be such that the region may be sufficiently productive and that it may be possible to repel external enemies. It should also preferably be made up of a single nation in view of the fact that the men of the same nation possess the same way of life and the same customs, which foster friendship among the citizens because of their resemblance. Accordingly, the cities that were constituted out of different nations were ruined on account of the dissensions that arose in them due to the diversity of manners, for one part [of the people] used to ally itself with [external] enemies out of hatred for the other part [of the people].” - St. Thomas Aquinas, Sententia libri Politicorum (Commentary on Aristotle’s Politics), Book III, Lesson/Lecture II (on Aristotle, Politics III.3). Today, 26th May, we remember Saint Augustine of Canterbury, the missionary sent to England in 597 AD by Pope Gregory I. But Augustine did not arrive in a land with no Christianity. The faith already existed in Britain from Roman times, with British Christians, bishops and churches recorded centuries before his mission. Augustine instead helped bring the Gospel to the Anglo-Saxon English kingdoms and strengthened the Church in England. He baptised King Æthelberht of Kent, established his seat at Canterbury, founded what became Canterbury Cathedral, and helped lay the foundations for English Christianity for centuries to come. His mission played a major role in the Christianisation of the English people and the shaping of England’s religious and cultural identity for centuries afterwards. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Music is the fluid expression of the characteristics of specific races. The musical height of the White race was the most creative, innovative, and beautiful sounds to ever be heard, such as Bach. The East Asian, while skilled, is primarily derivative. Based upon this, you can see my conclusion regarding the Negro based upon his music.

Once you hit about a 20-point IQ gap, communication starts to completely break down. It's not that the lower IQ person is "stupid" (although that can often be the case) or the higher one is arrogant, it's that you're literally operating on different systems. A 20 point difference (roughly 1.3 standard deviations) means: Vocabulary and abstraction levels diverge sharply. What feels like crystal clear logic to one side sounds like vague, pretentious word salad to the other. Jokes land flat. Metaphors get taken literally. Complex cause and effect chains get simplified into "this good, that bad." Different time horizons and pattern recognition. One person thinks in months or years and sees systems, the other is locked into days or immediate rewards. Trying to explain second order effects feels like speaking another language. Also, processing speed and working memory gaps. The higher IQ person is already three steps ahead, getting impatient. The lower IQ person feels talked down to or overwhelmed. Both walk away frustrated. Both have wasted each others time.

@based_white_boy @nolibertarians Claude. I’ve actually been considering making some more detailed charts and ideas for a sort of confessional “merger” - your post has inspired me to continue with that.

This LCMS/AALC drama is goofy, and it’s frankly ridiculous that the AALC is an autonomous church body in the first place, this isn’t 1800s America anymore, we should strive for nation-wide Lutheran unity both doctrinally and, yes, institutionally.

@based_white_boy 100% agree. Very silly to be this divided. The confessional bodies, if they unified, would be either on par or would outright surpass the ELCA.
