BREAKING: US officials have now confirmed in a briefing that Iran will get full access to a total of $100 billion in frozen funds and the $300 billion reconstruction fund, both included in the deal with implementation now underway, per WSJ. More than $150 billion of the fund has already been committed, directly contradicting Trump's claims that the US would not contribute to the $300 billion fund, per Reuters.

@OccupyDemocrats If Trump and Epstein were such “incredibly close friends,” why did Trump ban him from his properties nearly 30 years ago? If there is so much Epstein dirt on Trump, why wasn’t it leaked by the Biden WH, because they had already thrown everything else at him.

BREAKING: "They were incredibly close friends!" Republican Ana Navarro obliterates J.D. Vance for lying about Trump and Epstein during a disastrous appearance on The View. He should never have stepped into the lionesses' den... "I disagree with is the idea that the White House wasn't committed to full transparency. We have to remember, like, I was inside the room when some of these decisions were made," Vance said on the show. It's worth noting that we only know that Vance spearheaded Trump's PR crisis response team through the Epstein scandal because The New York Times revealed that he and other top officials met inside the Situation Room to discuss the problem. Vance is now pretending like he was the one who told us that. The truth is that he never wanted that information disseminated and now he's trying to own it. "The Epstein Files Transparency Act, the one that the President signed, the one that led to all these files that we're seeing, the emails..." Vance continued. "By the way, again, sorry Joy, I do have to defend my boss. I know you guys don't always appreciate this, but, you know, one of the things you see in the Epstein emails is that Jeffrey Epstein hated Donald Trump, and that Donald Trump literally reported Jeffrey Epstein to the police. That's one of the things that came out of these files." "They were best friends for about a decade!" said Navarro. "And remember, he signed that Transparency Act under duress when some Republican women, Congresswomen like Lauren Boebert, like Marjorie Taylor Greene, did not give in to his pressure of not signing." "He brought Lauren Boebert into the Situation Room to pressure her into caving on not voting for that bill!" she added. "That's all true," chimed in Sunny Hostin. And it is all true. Trump never wanted to release the Epstein files but pressure built within his party because of the public outcry until he was ultimately forced to sign it. He knew that vetoing the bill would have been tantamount to an outright confession of pedophilia. Furthermore, Vance's assertion that the emails prove that Epstein hated Trump is a gross mischaracterization of what the files show. Yes, it appears that the two men eventually had a falling out. But the primary takeaway is that they were very close friends who appear to have sexually preyed on little girls together for years and years. Just because their vile relationship disintegrated in the end does not wash away Trump's culpability. "Let me respond to that. So, number one is, yes, Donald Trump, he said this," said Vance. "He knew Jeffrey Epstein back in the 1980s. He also threw Jeffrey Epstein out of his club when he found out it was a creep, and reported him to the police. That's something that the media often misses when it reports this story. They tell the fact that they knew each other in the 80s, which the President himself admits. They ignore the fact that he narced on him to the police and led ultimately to Jeffrey Epstein's downfall." The reason that the media "misses" that story is because it's not true. According to Trump himself, he barred Epstein from Mar-a-Lago due to a disagreement over Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein's victims. It's not that Trump was repulsed by his pedophile pal's behavior, it's that he was territorial. "I don't know that it led to his downfall," interjected Hostin. "Well, it's one of the things that led to law enforcement investigation, but on the point that you made—" Vance tried to continue. "And it was allegedly over a real estate deal that they got into a fight over," said Navarro, referencing another credible explanation that has been proposed. "But the email says, the email says actually—" tried Vance. "And they didn't just know each other," said Navarro, giving Vance a withering look. "Let's just be truthful and transparent here. They didn't just know each other." "He's in a lot of pictures," said Joy Behar. "They were incredibly close friends," said Navarro. "He reported him to the police. That's what I'm saying. That is objective— That is objectively true. But Ana made— But Ana— Ana—" stuttered Vance. "Ana made another point that I think— I— I— Would be, if I may, because Anna made a very important point." "This question about did Donald Trump release these files only under duress from Republicans," said Vance. "And Ana, you know the Republican Party probably better than I do. The idea that Donald Trump runs around afraid of Republican congressmen as opposed to the other way around is kind of crazy." "It was bipartisan though. It was Republicans and Democrats," said Hostin. "This— Well— Well— But— But— But because the Republicans control the House and the Senate, particularly the Senate, you need the Republican sign-off. What the President did is... Look, I will— I will say this," said Vance. "Again, I was in there in the meetings. He was very frustrated that the Democrats were making this about him when he's like, look, I threw the guy out of my club. I am the guy who reported him to the police or one of the people who reported to the police." "The President was frustrated about that. Absolutely. But he eventually came to say, you know what? Let's just get everything out there," claimed Vance. "Let's have this out in the public. And he actually called the senators. I was there. He called the senators and said, you know what? Pass this bill. I'll sign it. And that was it." In reality, Trump did everything in his power to block the passage of the bill. He signed it in the end because he calculated that a veto would do more damage to him than releasing an improperly redacted, piecemeal version of the files. Vance's eagerness to defend his sex predator boss is morally repugnant and utterly disqualifying. This man is so desperate to become President one day that he's willing to stand arm-in-arm with a man who has been accused of sexually abusing children. There is no washing away a stench like this. Please ❤️ and share if you will NEVER vote for J.D. Vance!

@FoxNews So maybe MLB rules should simply ban all political / religious / personal expression on uniforms all the time. You know, a uniform ban. Instead of forcing one person’s message on another.

Rob Schneider is putting his money behind the message. The Hollywood star says he'll cover any potential fines for MLB players who wear Bible verses on their uniforms after league officials warned three San Francisco Giants pitchers who displayed Bible references on their Pride Night caps. The moment has quickly turned into a bigger fight over religious expression, league rules, and where MLB draws the line on what players can show on the field.

My opinion on the actual Iran deal (MEK infiltration of Congress aside): This may end up being an even bigger tar baby for the Trump administration than actually starting the Iranian war. This has nothing to do with capitulation accusations or JCPOA comparisons. It's that it's much more than a "what's wrong with wanting peace" thing. It all comes down to: the deal legitimizes the IRGC. That legitimacy is going to be the decisive factor for a lot of players, Israel most of all. The moment the US signs across the table from the IRGC, it's treating it as a normal government instead of what the Iranians in exile say, what Israel believed going in, what Trump himself said a few months ago. My read on why the US did it anyway: they got their interests served, wanted an official "war's over" to run on going into the midterms, and needed to buy time on the Strait of Hormuz. Fair enough on our own terms. Disaster in geopolitics. IMO, the better outcome was to refuse to legitimize any regime at all, even if that meant no deal and just holding the status quo until we figured out a real answer to Hormuz.

I've always wanted a journalist to ask Trump this question: "what were the terms of the JCPOA"? Huge indictment of journalism in the U.S. that no one has done that and his criticisms of the Iran Deal were treated as genuine positions.

This deal reopens a body of water that was open before the war and begins a nuclear negotiation far narrower than what Trump was seeking before the war. All at a staggering cost to the entire world while leaving an IRGC-led government that feels strengthened.
