I don't think very many Americans realize that most GWOT vets view Operation Epic Fury as the culminating strategic victory that their earlier sacrifices were a preliminary part of. This is redemption for the past 25 years, and further back even for some. America, are you getting this?

A note to ex pilots, SOF guys, etc: Maybe shut the fuck up about the intricacies of SERE training. It’s great that the WSO was able to escape and evade, but you don’t have to tell everyone how.

@Arrogance_0024 @JJCarafano Bro, I don’t think anyone ever accused the U.S. military of being efficient at anything except killing our enemies and breaking their toys. Budget dust my Polish friend. Budget dust.

So while a wounded American Colonel was hiding in a mountain crevice at 7,000 feet in Iran with nothing but a pistol and a prayer, and the CIA was running a fake rescue convoy to confuse the IRGC, and MQ-9 Reapers were methodically deleting anyone who got within two miles of him, and special operators were prepping to fly INTO Iran, fight their way to a ridge, extract one man, have two planes get stuck in the sand, blow them up, fly in three MORE planes, fight their way OUT... The American left saw that the White House had gone quiet and decided: clearly, Trump is dying at Walter Reed. They posted old video from the Butler assassination attempt as breaking news. They cited "credible reports." A guy literally drove to Walter Reed and reported back: no motorcade, no activity, roads open, nothing happening. Didn't matter. The narrative was already at a million views. Trump was in the Oval Office the entire time, monitoring a rescue op so complicated it already has a Wikipedia page. And then Easter morning. The Colonel is safe. Every American is home. And Trump posts: "Open the Fuckin' Strait, you crazy bastards. Praise be to Allah." On Easter. Signed "President DONALD J. TRUMP." Say what you want about the man. There is no one on earth doing whatever this is. A Christian president threatening to flatten Iran's power grid and then signing off with an Islamic prayer on the holiest day of his own religion, twelve hours after his military blew up their own planes inside enemy territory rather than leave them behind. The left thought he was in a hospital bed. He was ordering commandos into Iran. This is going to be the weirdest movie ever made

@AriFleischer YOU SHOULD NOT ENCOURAGE THAT BEHAVIOR. If he had intel at the time stamp he had, he was WAY out of line posting it. “First to report” means he had a dude feeding him intel direct from JSOC, immediately posting on the net. No thank you. - Amerian Fighter Pilots Everywhere

Apparently, this needs to be explained to people. I'm actually shocked that I have to write this. For one, as people have said, America is a country of true warriors and "no man left behind" wasn't sloganeering. The morale this creates is worth the weight of destroyed aircrafts in gold. It is the lifeblood of American might. The ultimate source of its power. Additionally, and perhaps more importantly, we do it because we can. And because we want our enemy to know we can. A prisoner of war is supposed to bring value to the country who received the POW. They're supposed to be able to leverage the aggrieved government for all manner of concessions in a negotiated release. That's what happens when you face a normal country in war. When you face America, you don't even get to fantasize about that. We will send the best killers on the planet to lay waste to your entire country until we forcibly extract our man. Do you not understand how psychologically destabilizing that is? These people spend hours trying to prove their abilities in combat to Americans via AI videos. And we just launched an operation so grand that it scarcely makes sense... all to rescue two men. That's why you blow up a couple planes if it means saving 2 pilots.

@AuroraIntel Zero Americans. We'll build more aircraft. The only ones who care about the equipment are the GOs that SECWAR is firing.

Imagine being Iran's leadership right now You once were the feared boogie man of the Middle East. Instead, you get the complete shit kicked out of you for 5 weeks straight, your entire navy sunk, your supreme leader killed, and you FINALLY shoot down 1 plane This is finally your moment. You can parade the pilot on TV and use him as negotiating leverage But instead, Air Force Pararescue puts boots on the ground on your home turf, we basically build a whole patrol base including a Forward Air Refueling Point, kill hundreds of your dudes, something goes wrong with one of the C-130s at the FARP on our way out, we're not even cortisol spiked so we simply just fly in another plane and blow up the old one instead of even bothering to do any maintenance just because of how much money we have that we can simply buy a new plane Good grief. I haven't seen a beatdown this bad since Will Stancil got molested by Grok. This is honestly embarrassing for the IRGC at this point. That was LITERALLY your home territory where you know all the terrain and have home field advantage, we have never done real boots on the ground operations in Iran before, and you still lost. Everyone throw up the set right now

A reminder to folks: A lot of folks were aware that a rescue mission was taking place. Most kept their mouths shut until everyone was safely out of Iran. Lives are more important than your engagement on social media.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 THE F-15E HAD NO INFRARED WARNING SYSTEM Former U.S. Navy Intel Officer Malcolm Nance explains exactly how Iran shot down the F-15 without the pilot ever seeing it coming. Iranians used thermal imaging cameras to spot the heat signature from the engines and locked on with computerized tracking software. "Believe it or not, one of the systems they did not install was the infrared warning system.” @MalcolmNance

🇺🇸🇮🇷 TRUMP DECLARED AIR DOMINANCE. 2 HOURS LATER, IRAN SHOT DOWN AN F-15. Former U.S. Navy Intel Officer Malcolm Nance says the U.S. just lost low altitude airspace over Iran. "Total air dominance is what we had in Afghanistan… you could fly at any altitude in almost any location in that country, and nothing would touch you." Not the case in Iran. @MalcolmNance

Fox News can confirm that the 2nd crew member of the downed F15E fighter jet has been rescued and he and the members of the rescue team that extracted him from behind enemy lines in Iran are all safely out of Iran. That according to two senior US officials and multiple well placed sources in the region. The Weapons Systems Officer ejected along with the pilot when their F15E Strike Eagle they were flying was struck Thursday night (early Friday local time) in southwest Iran.  The WSO used the SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape) training to evade capture, hiding on an elevated ridge after hiking away from the wreckage and putting out an emergency beacon.) US Special Operations rescue forces to include PJs (United States Air Force Pararescuemen (PJs) and many layers of elite rescue forces took part in the complex, layered mission to both find the crew member and also keep the Iranian forces who were hunting the American weapons system operator at bay. There are videos that have appeared from local eyewitnesses that show what appear to have been  injured and dead Iranian members of the IRGC and Basij who were looking for the downed American crew member. Fox has learned there was fighting on the ground but no Americans killed during the operation. “It was a very complex operation to retrieve the downed service member,” a well placed source briefed on the operation told me. Many different branches of the US military were involved in the rescue. Fox News can confirm the A10 Warthog that crashed Friday was involved in providing cover for the rescue teams searching for the pilot. That A10 crashed in Kuwait (first reported by ABC Friday) but the A10 pilot managed to eject safely and was rescued. There was destruction of aircraft which have sensitive equipment on board, I am told, all part of this complex CSAR (Combat Search and Rescue) mission. The F15E was pretty much destroyed on impact. Two rescue helicopters were hit by enemy fire on  Friday and crew members onboard were injured by enemy fire but managed to make it out of Iran. There were a lot of elements to this rescue, I am told.

Something very ODD about this Admiral COOPER fellow from @centcom.  He’s the Flag officer in charge of Epic Fury.  Appearing in BLACK rooms, No Questions Asked, and only Occasional “updates” that sound like he went to the BIDEN School of Communications at Delaware State.  VAGUE at Best.  And did he DENY and DECEIVE us about those downed American Fighters?   If we’re learning more from the IRANIANS than our own side, WE GOTTA BIG PROBLEM.  Hey COOPER—do NOT jerk us around!!!!!!!
