My local A&W had a staff lunch yesterday & all 10 staff were from India or The Philippines. So today or Monday I am going to talk to the manager & suggest that it might be good for his business & future relationship with the community if he hired some local people to work there.

BREAKING: Teen (15–19) unemployment rate in Canada hits 20.6% Q1 2026 — levels historically reserved for severe economic crises. Only 36.7% of 15–19 year olds are now employed Mark Carney also plans to bring in 60,000 temporary foreign workers in 2026. Elbows up.

The largest shareholder in Tim Horton's is 3G Capital, a Brazilian investment firm. The food is awful. The coffee tastes like battery acid and gives me heartburn. Your franchisees are destroying your brand by having taxpayers subsidize wages and replacing Canadians with TFWs.

@01CuriousGeorge We stand by the statement we shared on the original poster’s TikTok. We truly care about providing excellent service for millions of guests every day, and when we miss the mark it’s important to us that we listen, learn from it, and try to make it right.

Boycott Tim’s until they get rid of the TFWs. Companies that despise Canadians don’t deserve Canadians’ support.

Then stop abusing the TFW program and dismissing the franchisees' nepotism when hiring and start getting quality back into your products. Encourage the hiring of Canadians to avoid the very poor service going on in your stores. MAYBE then, you can begin regaining consumer confidence. Until then, we will continue with the hashtags and the boycott. #BoycottTimHortons 👇😭

Fuck off. Hire Canadian or don’t be surprised when Canadians vote with their wallets. Your product is absolute garbage by the way.

After days of @CedrikSeguin (@HFTVSports) claiming he was “assaulted,” refusing to post the video, and saying their evidence is strong, but decided not to press charges. The video I obtained shows a minor altercation at most. Nowhere near the narrative they pushed online about the situation. Don’t antagonize all game, then try to make our fanbase look bad over something that clearly wasn’t what you portrayed it to be. None of this would’ve ever happened if he acted like the thousands of other Habs fans who came to Buffalo to support their team and left without issues. Instead, he spent the day trolling fans, swearing at kids, escalating situations, and then played victim afterward for engagement. And for the record, in New York, “pressing charges” isn’t solely your decision, that’s up to law enforcement based on the evidence available. Since they wouldn’t post the video themselves, here it is for everyone to see.

Not a single purchaser of crude oil in the world asks nor cares about the carbon footprint of the barrel, instead is 100% focused on accessibility, affordability, and reliability. I do not see how we overcome this massive misunderstanding which underpins all ongoing negotiations.

A Canadian woman from the Toronto area is going viral on TikTok for calling out perpetual TFW abuser Tim Horton's for their terrible food quality at MULTIPLE locations, the poor service from the employees they continue to hire and she vows to never freqent another Tim's restaurant again. When her post got a lot of traction online, @TimHortons slid into the comment section to try to do damage control (while our young Canadians face a massive unemployment crisis). /1
